I tend to be in the same state when I do Catharsis (borrowed from Vijnana bhairav) wild but "still" within, I am almost out of my extremely repressed state which had led to extreme anxiety (I had almost every kind of anxiety), doing it from past 10 yrs, will take practice and time to be real and spontaneous, this is one genuine path to enlightenment. I have the privilege to be there on Velliangiri mountain and the energy is phenomenal. I thought of being there on top for at least half an hour but it was so intense I couldn’t handle myself and had to leave that top in just 10-15 minutes

For a western mind, I can only imagine the residual spirit on that mountain is similar to a warrior spirit, that spirit of indignation, fierce guardianship and drive to speak truth with audacity and fervour. Is this so?

In the eastern stories, you don’t try to separate the literal from the metaphor. You just swallow the whole and hopefully, digest it. (I did not find ‘warrior’, ‘guardianship’, ‘truth’ , ‘audacity’ in the story)

@@ramabapat Thank you for this. I am trying to understand how an anger or "self-acrimony" can live within a yogi (or anyone) in a way that is not destructive. "Fierce" in that way that one is filled with conviction would make sense, but angry? I easily accept the story as literal and that the energy remains. I believe we all can leave behind energy we shed. But I want to understand why this isn't regarded negatively.
