I strongly believe that everyone has different experiences while meditating, my only suggestion to everyone who tries or meditates, not to have a pre conceived ideas before meditating, just experience where it takes you, everyone have different neural pattern so the experience differs, deep meditation can even take you to visualise things, I try writing my experience everytime i finish, and don't loose on beginning as it's always difficult in beginning but once you start keeping your thoughts null, it's miraculous and addictive. Keep meditating.

I want to share a meditation technique I experience that magnifies my meditation and makes it easier to focus and open the inner ear with more clarity. 1st I go to the place where I'm most mentally relaxed. That's my shower and I put something to sit and I turn the water on a pleasantly warm temperature that feels like it is warm blanket hugging your body and set the shower head on a constant jet pressure that is pointed at your head when sitting so when you close your eyes it focuses your inner ear and almost instantly mostly closes the door to outside by listening to the water pressure and it's warmth massage your skull and the inner ear of your skull relaxing and better focusing my meditation. It's almost literally the only way I can truly meditate more than a minute at a time

So basically what sadhguru tries to convey is , meditation is not an activity, its a state. So what he means by that is you stay detached from all the consequences of your activities. Its experiencing life from inside and not from outside physical experiences. A person can have his/her eyes opened, be untouched with the things happening around for 24/7 and this is the real meaning of meditation.

Meditation puts us in a certain brain wave or frequency and when we are in a certain vibration that resonates at a high frequency we can experience sensations of bliss and ultimately peace... It's an incredible tool for maintaining the "good" health of our psyche and our "healthy" connections with one another... Less attachment and less personalization yet a stronger connection with ourselves and one another and a stronger connection with our environment.

But be careful coz a lot of these videos with clickbait titles aren't actually Sadhguru's.....they use the content but also misleading and clickbait titles.

Walk into it. …. Review them and honor them that you learn what it needs to say to you. Embrace them to hear your direction. Ask questions that lead to more questions, about them, leading you to a path & direction. Honor the thoughts, expectations and desires…as they guide you..❤️

My mind is constantly running, part of me is grateful for this increased self awareness as I’ve gotten older, but it’s exhausting. I feel that I overthink things that other people are able to let go of so easily. But that is comparison, and most of the time that is not beneficial. I have to learn to let those repetitive thoughts flow without judging them. That is my goal of meditation-to realize these thoughts that I believe are things that I miss and want are actually things that I want to let go of. These repetitive thoughts cause me to feel sad and anxious and do not benefit me, but it is important I learn from them

Yes. I never know or really aware of meditation definitions in my life. Suddenly during covid time, out of nowhere, something happen to me that the idea of mediation come up to my mind and I just start doing it. Never knew, never heard of it before one day it's all happened. He spot on.

I don't know if you noticed the need to be more in depth on this or have acquired more refinement in your skill to elaborate on this, but this impresses me. This should help a lot in explaining about this to others for sure! Well done! I feel unfortunately reassured. I will do better as well.

I’ve been meditating regularly for about 1 year now. When I decided to begin meditating regularly, I tried many different types of meditations. Zen meditation, Vipassana, Transcendental meditation, guided meditation, yoga meditation, mindfulness meditation...you name it. I explored many options out there. Because I thought there was such a thing as the “perfect” meditation practice. Or one meditation can give me better results than the other. But soon I realized that it was the wrong approach. You can make anything work enormously for yourself. The only thing that really matters is how you do it. How much intention you put into it. The purpose of all kinds of meditations is the same - To make a person meditative.

What he said is true, meditativeness is a state. He described it in the best way he could but still you can't meditate because it cannot be learnt. It can only be experienced when it comes from within.

Essentially, meditation is the process of feeling for the presence of God in and around you and being aware of that Presence at all times throughout the day of your life. That is what he's speaking about.

Well explained Gurudev🙏 Meditation is a blessing for sure but people with corrupted mind and power (siddhis) can misuse it on vulnerable people who are not aware about these Siddhis they can achieve through meditation and kriyas. So Guru needs to take care of this and choose diligently who should be taught higher level of kriyas 🙏

Meditation for my understanding is.... quiet mind which can listening fully attentively to all sounds around us...doesn't matter you are sitting in thick woods or in the box of concrete walls.... just listen without judgement of mind or perception or describing what you are listening but attentively listening....in that noise there is silence which that thought can't touch that and there is no memory take place... this what is mediation or dhiyam that i know... and this what I learnt and i still leaning every moment.
