Mental health is a multifaceted and intricate component of our overall well-being, encompassing our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. One of the most intriguing manifestations within the spectrum of mental health conditions is the experience of mania, often associated with bipolar disorder. For some individuals, manic episodes can lead to heightened sensations of spiritual connectedness. During these episodes, a person might feel an intense and overwhelming connection to a higher power, the universe, or a profound understanding of life's mysteries. This heightened spiritual awareness can be both enlightening and disorienting, blurring the lines between profound epiphany and potential delusion. It's important to approach such experiences with caution and understanding, ensuring that the individual's safety and well-being remain paramount, even as we recognize the deep and often transformative impact of these episodes.
@yentl8638 Жыл бұрын
Are you manic yourself?
@2235-j8l Жыл бұрын
Agreed, these episodes/talks can definitely give one a temporary yet profound sense of hope and optimism which might work in keeping them positive for sometime, but of course the delusion will eventually dissipate. It’s like the placebo effect. However, I haven’t done shambahavi mahamudra yet, I’d like to give that a try at least.

Sadhguru, we love you! You are such a beautiful gift to us all! As said, so many factors involved with depression and anxiety. I feel most comes from our food lacking nutrients it once had 40, 50 yrs ago. That and today society. Too often people don't fit the mold. I suffer from suppressed childhood trauma and arthritis, fibromyalgia, back issues I can hardly walk and take meds for anxiety and depression and I still have some problems dealing with it. It angers me so that the use of our pineal gland use is for the most part, hidden knowledge and compromised here in America and it's practice deemed as witchcraft, voodoo, hippie, hogwash, lazy treehouses and who knows what else instead of informing what it really is! That and not growing up knowing what medication is to take is growing in the woods and weeds. A movement like this is what we all need

They may go in the direction of showing off and again suffering because of comparison, but this may also help in talking to everyone, participating more actively in life. If Isha can't, then atleast if it helps creating something like this may be.

most men would prefer an electric shock to sitting with their feelings--my god. all children should learn meditation as soon as they're able, but what does this say about how we are bringing up our boys especially? ...it isn't depression that kills--it's isolation. it's learned helplessness that lets adults give in to loneliness...it's isolation forced on children by parents...it's the negative emotion without any support from our fellow creatures that kills.
