Congratulations Doniece! You're looking fabulous! Fatigue is normal. Your body is trying to get itself together after the procedure. This procedure will change your life in a good way! Just follow what your bariatric team tells you and you will be fine. I have kept off 90lbs after having the sleeve 10 years ago. Remember, your surgery is not the miracle, its to help you, you (we) still have to do the work. Proud of you girl!!!!

Sooo great to hear... I've been waiting on an update on baby girl... She looks so great. Not that she didn't look right before. Just beautiful special her dimples... Glad you got a good report from the doctor. Keep up the good work and keep yourself encouraged. Remember your "why"... Trust God keep your head up and stay on your knees. You're on the way. Keep your eye on the prize. And thank God you have a beautiful support system in your mom and dad and your whole family. Some of us don't have that. I went through major abdominal surgery for stage 4 colorectal cancer. Very traumatic as I said. Thank God you have a beautiful support sister. You got this❤❤❤❤❤❤

She's doing great. Everyone weighs loss journey is different. I only lost 10 lbs in the first 6 weeks after surgery. I was a slow loser. I lost a large amount inches in two first two months. I am almost five years out and still down and maintaining a total weigh loss of 168 lbs. Enjoy the journey . It's worth it.

The hardest for me were the vitamins as well but as you progress It does becomes a way of life. Besides protein drinks I also rely on always keeping boiled eggs In my refrigerator. As the progress diet You'll be able to include other forms of protein that include meats and vegetables. Right now just do everything they tell you. day by day things will get better and make sure you drink plenty of water.

Great job on staying focus and getting it done. My daughter is now on her journey and hopefully she will follow through and get all the pre things done by the time we see the doctor in the fall. I have been tuning in so I know what questions to ask that I may not have thought of. She goes to the Dr again next week for the nutrition, psych and nurse practitioner. On top of that she graduates from high school next week. Jackson is so cute, 2 of my younger grands call me nana. Y’all be blessed. Thanks for sharing

That is so good to hear that everything is well and no complications. I had the surgery in 2007, the advances are amazing. The best thing I can tell you is to stick with the vitamins. Your body needs them and you can’t get enough from the food. Also, I take gummies when I can, I keep an eye on the sugar content. Continued success on your journey.
