I don't want to date someone who is too agreeable because you never know where they stand on issues that arise in a relationship. Always looking to 'keep the peace' simply isn't healthy or realistic. Some conflict is desirable because it creates opportunities to self-examine and learn so that you can grow. What matters is how you navigate it together. Side note: This isn't to be confused with a person who likes to fight regularly as that is dysfunctional.

@@ElimEx1 that sir is considered a platonic relationship, and a platonic relationship is different from a romantic relationship. While both types of relationships often involve having a deep friendship and sometimes even love, people in a romantic relationship are typically physically intimate whereas there is no sex or physical intimacy in a platonic relationship. How are you confusing the two when we're talking about romantic relationships and marriage?
@ElimEx1
@ElimEx1 Ай бұрын
@@theautodidacticman_ Because you're confusing marriage with romantic relationships. You can have an extremely succesful marriage with no intimacy. Did you know that 40% of marriages are sexless? And those are the people reporting it (lots of people don't) and doesn't include the marriages in trouble, divorcing, etc and those numbers don't include non married people. So that means that most long term relationships are platonic. Now most of those are filled with anger/resentment because they didn't do that on purpose. Historically, a lot of power marriages were platonic (except for procreation purposes for legacies) and couples had lovers for love, romance and lust. This is a much better paradigm because society would be more stable if we brought that back. Marriages would be stronger if they were built to be platonic. At the core, marriages are nothing more than a business transaction. Legally, the papers you sign have nothing to do with relationships. We ascribe them that meaning because of propaganda, religion and movies and books. It's a fallacy meant to control.

This is my argument about believing men who have only watched porn are bad at sex or love making. I certainly do agree that those who watch porn and still have access to women or friends with access will never take the extra time to research how to properly please a woman. I, on the other hand, have come across many articles, books and videos teaching me on what sex is designed for and how to get her warmed up feeling comfortable in your arms while never going in expecting sex. Also, there's more to intimacy than sexual to build your bond as a couple.

I watched a discussion about a woman who in 5 years, had had numerous relationships (16+) with different men. When she wanted to marry, she couldn't find a husband. With her experience, no man could offer her anything new. I was the opposite; I had never had a girlfriend. I believe that couples should get naked only with partners they trust. This woman had made her body almost public property. She had nothing left to offer. Pornstars do the same.
@ElimEx1

It's the opposite. She had SO MUCH MORE to offer. Why spend the rest of your life with a prude who knows nothing about pleasure, probably repressed and can do nothing for her partner. It works both ways btw. Just imagine being stuck for the rest of your life with someone who is not compatible this way with you. Then you're miserable for the rest of your life.

How can it be that this is the exception? Could it be that I'm somehow provoking that behavior somehow? I don't understand. I'm almost at the point of abandoning my integrity just to be given a chance. Where are these "majority of women" that she's talking about? I find this interview very valuable. Because it was a very respectful exchange. Both sides have their experiences and both live in a long-term partnership. Regardless of the interview, this black and white thinking / this right and wrong thinking is disturbing. There is no question that we have access to many stimuli from the outside. But I believe that access to quick erotic experiences is no different than access to other stimuli that precede this urge. Especially social media. Points like, "Who do I have to be, what do I have to look like", "consumption in general", "nutrition that is definitely unhealthy". I think there are a lot of things that are a lot more damaging to the individual person and a factor in being less able to make a long-term commitment or feel good enough for a person than the porn industry. Even if you do, it's always "HOW" you deal with it and not what and how often you consume it. Therefore, the answer lies more in the mindset of the person and deeper than just the number of sexual experiences. Moreover, sex is much more than sexual intercourse. sexual intercourse is only a result of good sexual vibes that are generally maintained and actively triggered. Of course, everyone is free to choose what is important to them, and there is certainly a consensus on everything in science. What is more important is open and respectful interaction, regardless of experience. There is no right or wrong and perhaps it is precisely this understanding of each other that can connect people, even if they have thought differently up to that point or even think differently in the partnership.
@escapevelocity8092
@escapevelocity8092 Ай бұрын
A lot of this discussion is hot air. If you see a person and truly understand them in the core, and know how to make them feel safe and attractive and wanted, then any sexual encounter includes the soul and not just the body, and no amount of statistical projection can match that. Numbers mean nothing, and by knowing yourself and coming to know them intimately, there will be zero insecurity about pleasing them whatsoever.

Any married guys in the comments: is it true that you'd prefer new women to be intimate with rather than just your wife? (Like how the man in the video was saying)
@VN_Zadok
@VN_Zadok Ай бұрын
New women while still being married? Or new women all the time? I stick with one wife only to be fully invested sexually and truly happy based off monogamy (she’s my one and only). s Since many men even in times past have had multiple wives and gfs at the same time of their wives they have less time to really invest in that one and only wife. So when she gets an attitude or is on the rag he has options to be satisfied elsewhere without trying to hard to make anything right or going through a waiting period while she’s on hers. If one wife is withholding sex and she’s all you have then it requires a man to be humble and seek out the relationship to repair it. Having multiple wives at the same time seems like easy way to not be too attached to one person and thus moving around to the other women causes each woman that you are married to to miss you since they don’t have you all to themselves and would be less interested in arguing and more open to good times thus making it easier on the man and more enjoyable as he hops around to each of his wives and gfs. But there’s always that option if one acts up he can move elsewhere Let’s flip it around though, would multiple men ever be married to one woman? Or would one woman like to have multiple men as their spouses or “side things”
@banished4eva
@banished4eva Ай бұрын
@VN_Zadok I meant new women while still being married. But new woman all the time isn't a bad question either- does that feeling happen for men too? Also I understand now why a man has multiple wives etc...I actually know of someone in my neighborhood who has multiple wives and I've wondered how he was ok with it because from what I've noticed is that none of the wives have any emotional attachment to him, and he also has no emotional attachment to any one of them specifically. That brings me to another question.. is emotional attachment important to a guy? Or do men not care about that?? And to answer your question, personally I wouldn't like to have multiple men, I can't imagine doing that to whoever I'd marry. It's more because I'd want the man I married to know that he's the one I want to put my effort, time and love into. I would hate sharing my husband with anyone. I'd wanna grow with each other and work on getting better etc... but I just wanted to see a male perspective cuz ik both genders think differently
@VN_Zadok
@VN_Zadok Ай бұрын
@@banished4eva I guess it depends on what kind of man the person is. Me personally I am content with one wife being my exclusive source of all my sexual experience and happiness. Men need to feel emotionally connected apart from sex, because we feel valued and respected as a person, as a man. Look at Dax “to be a man” song to see the importance of a man’s struggles that are always overlooked. So yes a true man needs this from his one wife to be emotionally and sexually balanced. There are men out there that don’t care or probably stuff their emotions and sex is just a means to satisfy the deep hole they have that no one truly loves them. Just like drinking, smoking or anything else that people do because they are unloved and don’t know how to deal with it. Thus multiple partners is just a means to satisfy the flesh as to avoid the deep inner hurt. And also some men do not care and are perfectly fine not being emotionally invested in any one woman and are happy to keep increasing their body count and banging as many women as they can with no intentions of having a family or truly feeling the weight and responsibility it takes to have a consistent partner they are emotionally invested in plus children they love and have to provide for. So that would be a selfish man, and only selfish women would fall for such a man As you gain experience it seems you would want someone with no experience so that they can truly be your everything and you would be able to rest in that because the person you were with before didn’t have that intent with you and you were able to see that. So now you see the purity in some one who sees you like you wanted to be seen and it makes it easier for you to know that this person with no experience can grow into loving you properly

I disagree with this episode, no alpha man will fall in love with a female who has been around the block several times.......its like you falling in love with a stripper......
