She nailed it! : "you're just learning how to categorize every ex of yours as a narcissist, but not about what behaviors or traits in you attract or even are narcissistic". If you hop from relationship to relationship without self reflection, grieving, healing and growth, you'll rinse and repeat the same pattern over and over and keep causing train wreaks everywhere you go.

Begs the question, was the ex really the Narcissist?
@dahliafiend
@dahliafiend Жыл бұрын
Yes the ex was. I dunno why this is hard for people I’ve been in about eight relationships good and bad. One was a covert narcissist who destroyed years of my life. Believe victims especially men. I haven’t gone through life playing the victim card but I was with a monster. More education on the subject is needed and less nitpicking on semantics.

@@dahliafiend8 Relationships? Eh you need to check yourself. That's too many failed relationships to not be taking self accountability and looking within to see what part of you keeps attracting those types of people. Trust me I was like you before but after some self reflection I realized I had some red flags I needed to work on myself to stop attracting toxic women.

Listening to her advice is validating that I actually have a healthy way of connecting and communicating without all the games. It seems people have been programmed to think playing games is necessary. Any relationship established on manipulation (through games) just doesn’t seem like a relationship worth having. I pray people can be genuine again. Great feedback !

The real problem is that after a divorce with someone who wasn't very healthy, I can't trust genuine people, those who do the right things for a relationship. How can I when 98% of women say I am not like that only to prove that they are exactly that?

Just walked away from a situation where he only wanted my help and then he became very disrespectful to me , shaming me brought certain things in my face which I told him when I let my guard down he always claimed and promised and swore he would come see me he never did this went on for years he would ghost me for a week or for 3 days on end especially every weekend so when he said was I cheating I knew right there that he did cheat. I don't have time for games and he used me so much for money. I walked away GOD finally woke me up and let me know that he was lying all this time. Now I am healing from it and I know what true love is. It was a long distance relationship but it was always one sided and he hurt me so much. He never cared about my well being all he cared about was self and then when it started to become a competition I just walked away for good I will love myself more now and still be the loving person I am I want a Kingdom Marriage one day. I had to completely look in the mirror at myself and say I deserve to be loved to be cherished to be respected to have my needs met I knew nothing about a narcissist at all. But I am learning.

Well empaths attract narcissists bc they are too empathetic to narcissists needs. It doesn’t mean you have the same characteristics as the person you attract. However, if your motives are superficial, such as the guy meets superficial qualities you want, chances are you will attract a superficial person. Motives are also important.

This is what happens when you get rid of religion. I'm a hardcore atheist and I still recognize the values of love, forgiveness and HUMILITY that the Abrahamic religions teach. We have become our own gods. We are now the most important things in the universe. But the only lasting love is the love you have to your fellow human. Religion taught this. But in our hubris we threw away religion , baby, and bath water and we wonder why we feel lost and alone

This sort of climate isn't sustainable. (Was social media really just a big social experiment?) It's pretty crazy when I think about how we witnessed the evolution of the telephone. ( Even though the tech was developed in the 60's.) Were they trying to "rob" people of their intellect in the first place by distracting ppl with access to corn?🤔 When I had my son I realized I was part of the problem and there was no way I was going to raise him on the same #redpill that his forefathers were raised on. Well, this is where you get the sincere questions from people who want to know how you did it. “Sorry, I missed most of, could you aim at me”. And it’s really strange here on KZbin. The words and the issues can come out of nowhere sounding very familiar, giving you the false impression that someone is interested. But, look at the clicks, look at tracking, those people aren’t there. It seems like they’re addressing what you just said on a different channel, but there is no way to do that. No obvious way. So, maybe those questions won’t come. The hardest part is not reaching the summit, it’s not toppling back down the mountain, when well intentioned, we’ll meaning people just want to stand beside you on top. I do not have a limber mind.

The problem is then men that are desperate for it come through angry and boarish, having the bare minimum to offer and Demanding of it and being mean to the woman that don't give it to them free of charge, that they scare off or anger the women that are capable of being that dream woman.

Every bloke I've ever known, football mates, rugby mates etc takes 5-10 minutes to get ready to go out (and don't really care how they look) but women? 2-3 hours minimum! I dont think you realise what NPD is . Please google as people think that narcissistic is a person from Greece myths who loved his look . Narcistic personality disorder is a huge thing .. and it is usually caused by trauma in the childhood . That trauma can change development of some parts of the brain and nervous system .. and then this person as an adult lacks of empathy, can be controlling, and never takes ownership for own mistakes . These are big three traits for NPD . There’s lots of articles and videos about it so you can learn a lot from it 🙂

@@TheForgotten__1 That wasn't her point at all. NPD is a psychological disorder far more prevalent in men than in women. It has nothing to do with looks (it can, but that's just a minor part of it.) You can't make the claim that "women are more manipulative than men" without data to back up your hypothesis. It might be your experience but one person's experience doesn't define reality as an aggregate.
