My grandson is 6 and has radial dysplasia. Poor kiddo thought he was the only one on earth with a different kind of hand. He was so happy to find out he wasn't alone.

Major suggestion, don’t decide one day looking at pictures of you as a baby and your hand bent and wonder if you can do it still. I am completely missing my radial bone on my right side and it is slightly shortened on my left side and I was curious on day, I ruined the work done like 10 years before. I am completely missing my thumb on the right side because of the radial dysplasia and the thumb on my left hand is positioned off but not off so bad that it was caught. My right hand was so severe none of the doctors caught the left side until my last Shriners appointment when I pointed it out to them when I was 18 years old. You can do anything you set your mind to it! I learned to play piano, I learned to drive and figured out how to work it with my hand.

Did you have a 2 vessel umbilical cord?

I would like to know this as well. It looks like our son will have what her daughter has (just found out at 20 week scan) and we found out he also has a singular umbilical artery. I’m praying he will be okay with no other abnormalities and will be a healthy baby.
