That's the same as me, but I don't live with my mom or dad, I live with me grandma. But I'm always scared of her dying because I don't wanna live with my mom and dad because I would have to transfer schools. It hurts so much when people say , ur just like ur mom or , ur just like ur dad. And my friends are always saying that they want to have my life, and I always tell them that they shouldn't cause it hurts so much to not have parents that care about you more than anything. Then they say, It's JUST a little deal, it's not like they died. Well to me it feels like that 😔😔😔 I'm so sorry to ANYONE that has to be living like this too 😔

And don’t get me wrong I’m very grateful for a Christmas, but if I had a happy family together we would get to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. And yes I know there are other situations that affect Christmas and some kids don’t get a Christmas, I was just explaining my situation, so chill 💀

I love my mum but I can't anymore...My life is getting stressful every second that I just wanna pull up the battery of my brain and shut it down I don't wanna open any books I don't even wanna play and I don't wanna do anything, I had no power left even for the simplest thing like homeworks. Why that even triggers you, if you love ur dad you should thank your mom, well i always say thank you when i hear that, bcs my dad is amazing person, if she stopped loving him i have not, or if its some hard argument i would tell her i cant be like our neighbor, bcs he is not my father, she choose him to have children with so i have to be like my dad. Im happy for them, divorcing is def a hard step when you have children, they should live their lives as they want and I respect that, i dont care about their 💩 talk about each other and i dont see why most ppl do with their parents.

@@PotatoCato7 it triggers me because my dad was abusive and gaslighted my mom And I don’t like my dad but I love my mom, and I tried to please her so she can validate me, but because I look similar to my dad, and she resented my dad, if I do something that would piss her off, she would be like “you are just like you dad” or “you and you dad are the same” which hurts me, because I know I’m nothing like my dad and it makes me sad.

Having divorced parents was the best thing that could’ve ever happened to me. Not waking up from my dads car screeching away while my mom screams her head off at him. He left us for 6 months to run off the bill for y my moms best-friend that he had been secretly seeing for a year. he came back 6 months later and wanted to start a throuple with the three of them and choked my mom when she told him how f*ed up that was. the divorce let me stay with my mom and help her be stable.

Yeah I'm sure it really sucks to have divorced parents and I am going to avoid it with my little boy as much as possible. But I have parents who "stayed together for the kids". My mom relied on my abusive dad financially and all that did was emotionally destroy me, put me through physical abuse, and give me trauma that will probably affect me my whole life. If my mom had kicked my dad out a long time ago I feel life would have been better. She always talked about it and gave me hope, but never went through with it and is still with him to this day. My husband is amazing and I have complete trust in him. But if he puts me or my son through any of what my dad did, I'll be out of this marriage faster than he can blink and he knows it. I feel for children whose parents have divorced, but would it really have been worth it for them to stay together despite their issues?

They also complain about eachother to my sister and I everyday. They stay together for appearances and my mom is kind of financially dependent. I swear, my sister is 23 and they should have divorced like few months after she was born. I wish they were divorced instead of married.

I think the only way it is easier is not hearing the arguments and fighting anymore. Seeing your parents hate each other and then it gets filtered to you is so hard. It's like this for most of us, but it's still better than having them both in the same house, hating each other in front of you. You know, ever since I was born, I've never seen my parents love each other, it was hate since the beginning. The divorce happened when I was 12, I'm 23 now and have temper issues, love issues, and sometimes when I have to remember those times they argued, I still cry.

@@TheReal_happy40 I don't remember much of my childhood (I was young when they took separate ways, like 5), I have witnessed some arguments between my parents before I was 5 (I don't vividly or vaguely remember them consciously), then saw him be happy with the woman of his life, my sister and I do have good relationship with her (even with our sometimes hot tempers). Once, we argued and I said to her how I felt about the arguments I've witnessed (before my dad planned doing it properly). I agree the divorce is easier than watch them unhappy together (plus, my dad has always made sure he had the best words possible for my mum, defending her when others made mean comments about her, made sure they could still be parents together besides this divorce and the consequences on our family). But I still have trust and love issues as a grown adult after being in this mess this young P.S : I always had a good relationship with my dad (who's been dead now by 6 years) and he always made sure we were in his life and worried when we had an argument with our stepmom

It’s only in America where adults can’t swallow their pride and live in a “bad marriage” for their child. In EVERY poor country where man can’t live without woman and woman can’t without men has nearly 0% divorce rate.
