Overall we have in uk a government that just don’t care about its citizens - they will not intervene at all on what the mayor does as they know the TFL is almost bankrupt so they rather not themself fund it anymore and are perfectly happy to have the mayors office apply things like ULZ to make money .. the entire uk system of managing the citizens is and has been going down for years and this is not getting any better

I worked on a UK aid project in Cairo and on my annual leave trip to the UK shared a hire car pick up minibus with the project's director. He told me about a university subject he was took part in at Heathrow back in the 1970s. Measuring the pollution from aircraft and airport workers, he did not give the figures reached, but he did say the group had to have medicals afterwards to check their lungs. The volume of flights has increased since that time and I wonder what amount UNITED Airlines are contributing to the health of Londoners. I kept a boat near the end of City Airports runway and a black film would settle on the decks in just a few days. Decided to move the boat to Holland.

Iv just got a diesel curtesy car whilst my electric car is having the battery changed (only costing 5 grand) and I swear to god iv never felt so happy to be in a car that doesn’t need a whole arse planning route for chargers, not having to worry about having to sit for an hour freezing cold other wise it’ll take twice as long to charge if you try to stay warm whilst charging the bastard car. I’m forced to have an electric car by my company because of all the driving I have to do. Only good thing is the company pay for it I’d rather shit in my hands and clap than pay for this piece of shit.

Do I see a bias by a certain Mayor towards a certain demographic, I think there has been different police policies to different demograaphics… United Arab Airways seem to have close links with certain mayors… Different planning rules, always allowing certain demographic and religious cultural significant permissions to go ahead, but never enforced to stay that way, so becoming only a religious centre… Different types of banking/mortgages for some demographics
