The day i drove my newborn daughter home i played melancholia. No particular reason i can recall, just did. She's an October baby. Her favorite song of yours has been "with you". I played it for her for the first time in months while i put her to bed. She was asleep by the 2nd verse. I'm a single dad, can't wait to play this album for her. She turned 7 this month. Everyday she surprises me with her ability to speak so eloquently. The other day i took her kayaking with my friends and they offered her the choice between pepsi and sprite. Her words were "ide very much prefer the pepsi, thank you.". You inspire and influence more than you know my friend, thank you. Stay sharp.

I should add, I found Eyedea when I was 14, more than 15 years ago. For what it's worth, you, Eyedea, Aesop, Kristoff, and a few others are staples in my life. Prey for paralysis is the most underatted album I've ever heard. I don't open up easily, but this album deserves recognition beyond what could ever come post mortem.
