the world needs an affordable (or insurance covered) foot drop walking stim unit. The WalkAide costs approximately $4,500 and the NESS L300 costs about $5,900. think about how many people there are just in the U.S. who would like to ditch their mafo and would be willing to pay within a reasonable amount. come on folks, you can do it...i've got faith in you

Does this correct foot drop? Do you use for an hour sitting down, then stop, or what?

Exactly that - use this particular device as part of an exercise programme to build strength in sitting .

How does this work?

It delivers an electrical stimulation to the muscle to make it contract. It has a pre set programme for 60 minutes to stimulate the muscle for 8 seconds, rest for 8 seconds and it keeps repeating for the 60 minutes

Does this correct foot drop? How exactly do you use it, walking, standing, sitting?

With the Stim One device, you would use it for strengthening the muscle that lifts the foot as part of an exercise programme . It would too hard to use it walking as you would have to time your leg swinging through when you take a step. There are other devices on the market designed to use when walking

Yes it certainly can be. It can be used on any muscle . There are small or large blue wing sizes to allow for use on small or large muscles

Can this machine cure CMT foot drop

It can’t cure CMT foot drop, but it can be used as part of a rehab programme depending on the severity of CMT. There may be too much nerve damage for some people to be effective
