Dude, thank you for the video! I'm a 6ft 230lb piece of chewed bubble gum. I lost 125lbs and my muscles atrophied a tremendous amount! I was so week I couldn't even do a single push up. I've been reconditioning for a month and am now up to 10 push-ups. I have to take my police physical agility test tomorrow and I have never climbed a wall. I am terrified of looking like a fool and failing. I have searched and searched for a video to help me understand the how especially the why to getting over the wall, and this is by far the best video I have seen! So thank you, and I hope I can apply what I've learned tomorrow!

This is the absolutely best and most technically sound discussion on technique in getting over a 6ft wall. Thank you!!

Great video! Your explanations are clear and detailed. Excellent work. I don’t see why all your videos don’t have their numbers of views in the thousands.

Thank you for this video so much good information!! The way you break it down. I have my police test coming up I’m going to try the frog position and try and hook my heel over the wall! I noticed in my last test I did the Side thing with my toe.

Currently my only obstacle standing between me and this PD job is the 6ft solid wall. All the techniques other officers are showing me, don't get me there. I'm 5ft tall, and don't exactly have the ability to do a muscle up. I can do the 6ft chain link, but not the solid. Can I message you privately? My POPAT test is 5/6, and I've been killing myself practicing this wall daily. I don't feel I'm accomplishing anything more than running into it, using my right foot to post up, get into the tear drop position, and become dead weight instantly, unable to hold the tear drop position bc I'm messing up once I'm mounted

Hi brother in Police Academy. Trying to scale this wall at 5'7 and 228 pounds. I saw heavier guys then me get over it. Our first attempt out of 5 in 6 months is in few weeks. I been getting closer but I shuffle my feet before I get to the wall. Amy tips. Thanks

IF you can, work backwards. Start at the base of the wall and take big strides back ( we take bigger steps running than walking). Then take those strides back to the wall and jump. This will build the muscle memory. After that, if you shuffle, it will be farther out to line up those steps to the wall. Hope that makes sense. I might have to make this another video ;)
