Safety concerns after people filmed using Apple Vision Pro headset

A number of people have been spotted using Apple's VR headset in public including while driving.

Some appear to have been using the gadget as a stunt. Others may just have been just learning how to use the headset while out and about.
The new technology has prompted safety concerns, with the US transportation secretary reminding drivers they must pay attention at all times. The reminder was issued after one Vision Pro owner was filmed using the headset as he drove a car with assisted driving features.

Their vision is passing through cameras on the device, if there is a software glitch or a battery issue they will go completely blind. They should pass ASAP a law to ban usage of pass-through VR goggles while driving/using heavy machinery.

I don't think the latency is that much that it would cause problems but it's just that it distracts you obviously and if there's a glitch or the device dies, it could 100% be lethal

Thanks Apple. Distracted driving is going to be even more exasperated now with this device. Texting while driving is one thing, but this? This is a whole new level. To be honest, this tech has a lot of potential... but I can see the concerns of WHEN you use the device. Finding the appropriate time to use the Vision Pro (e.g. at home) is definitely going to be crucial.

I understand the fascination about the Vison Pro . It's a new thing and people lpve showing off but like everything in life , people should do things wiith moderation.
