Damn. How'd she go from this to Republica? It's as if she took a rock to the head. There's no "transition" piece to (potentially) explain it. Has she ever talked about it?

the original republica incaration wasn't rock. it was more dance. then it got rock remixes to cash into brit pop. but yes world of you is just not her haha

I think it's quite a smooth transition. Listen to Losing Control and Fluffy Toy by Saffron and then Republica's Out of this World (available on this channel) which is one of the first Republica songs, if I'm not mistaken Saffron wrote it before Republica was formed. Obviously Saffron and early Republica leaned towards techno music. I agree with the comment above.
