Acting is a very important job. Being able to evoke an emotion from an audience, to make them get lost in story, to inspire. That's very important. And very hard work. Actors (most) train for years to learn how to master their craft, to celebrate the human condition in all its flaws. To make people laugh, cry, think differently, consider. That's very hard work. No TV shows. No movies. No stage productions. No radio (lots of radio personalities got their start in acting). Without actors the world would be a pretty boring place.

@@jeffreyfrerichs1078 You complete buffoon. They ALL work second and third jobs to be able to pay the bills.(Or did if they managed to get rich pre-streaming) They absolutely know serious work. And they are being paid peanuts compared to what YOU still get if they rerun your background TV work from 1980. A couple of cents for a show that Netflix boasted as the most streamed show on their platform. YOU may get more money NOW from your TV work back in the day then current actors now get for main protagonist roles on Netflix' hitshows.
