Sage Mode Naruto VS The Akatsuki

In this Naruto versus battle we will do Sage Mode Naruto vs The Akatsuki. We will take the Naruto vs Pain fight, substitute Pain for every Akatsuki member, and see how Sage Mode Naruto would have done against them. We'll see fights like Naruto vs Itachi, Naruto vs Kisame, Naruto vs Obito, Naruto vs Orochimaru, Pain vs Naruto, and Naruto vs Kakuzu.
Naruto we'll have access to two recharges of Sage Mode, Rasenshuriken, Rasengan, all the summons he brought to the Sage Mode Naruto vs Pain fight, but no access to the 9 Tails.

Samehada isn’t human. It could probably be argued it’s more animal-like. And animals aren’t affected in the same way by natural energy.

A cool power-up introduced with great limitations and capabilities but fundamentally was discarded for something else(merchandising!) or the writer forgot those limitations because of spectacle and plot purposes. Rather, than working within said limitations. That's why the different Genjutsu's the Sharingan got were so stupid. it was Kishimoto being lazy with introducing new powers rather than working with the ones he had. Case in point, Amatarasu and Blaze release being an excellent addition Sasuke developed. Same with Naruto and Sage Mode.

Kabuto in the War Arc could’ve set a reanimated Deidara on auto-pilot, spamming his C0 explosions until there’s no more Allied Shinobis left, but the plot needs to happen so he got nerfed. Deidara is that broken and the only reason why he didn’t do the C0 from the beginning was his pride as an artist.

They jump incredibly high and take up massive space. Not to mention that Naruto can effectively ride theyre head at the same time. And deidara can't just leave the field, so he'll have to at least stay in range. And deidara in range of sage mode Naruto does him no favors.

Sage mode has a very big counter to genjutsu. A sage can fight with their eyes closed and the state tells them when a genjutsu will be cast. Itachi near death doesn’t have gas in the tank. Sage Naruto can out last him, especially if he pushes Itachi to use his susanoo. Few moments Itchia used it, he passed away. At this point in time when Naruto gets sage mode, Itachi is at deaths door. Sage mode naruto stomps Hibi Sasuke. You’re really disregarding sage modes sensory abilities. Naruto can sense it all comming. Itachi’s susanoo is slow as well.

Much love fam, but you're cappin with Deidara's speed. Think of it this way. Deidara, on multiple occasions, noted that Hebi Sasuke's speed would be a problem. THAT version of Sasuke was still outclassed by nerfed Itatchi. Even if you said that's due to hacks and skill, sick Itatchi was still very much keeping up with H. Sasuke's speed. Reanimated Itatchi is an entirely different beast (kinda like Reanimated Hiruzen). That version of Itatchi (the one who matched KCM 1 and assuming Naruto wasn't holding back at all) was the superior fighter in the Sage Mode Kabuto fight. So much so that even Kabuto thought that the moment Itatchi was done for, Sasuke would shortly follow. Mind you, this is EMS Sasuke! His speed and perception are LEAGUES above Hebi Sasuke. So, basing Deidara's speed on a reanimated Itatchi (who is equal to or above EMS Sasuke, when Deidara had issues with Hebi Sasuke is a bit inaccurate. Again though, love your videos fam. Keep up the good work.

When he admitted that Sasori is probably stronger than him, it doesn't inherently imply that his speed is greater, but I'd imagine that they're at least relative when he's in his final puppet form. After all, Killer B was too fast for DM Sasuke, but Kisame kept up with him just fine.

He was also able to fight off and escape team Gui with no arms and dodged Garra's sand in the air. Kisame may be faster but I think Deidara is still fast enough to not get blitzed by sage mode Naruto. Saske also said Killer Bee's movements were very linier and predictable...so Kisame might have been able to keep up not because he is as fast but because he could anticipate Bee's moves. Honestly I think Kisame beats sage mode Naruto as well, I was very surprised when OP gave the W to Naruto. Kisame is an absolute tank with the highest chakra reserves out of the Akatsuki...if a nerfed Pain can outlast all of Naruto's sage charges then so can Kisame.

A Sage Mode Naruto needs not his eyes to see, so he won't be caught in anymore Genjutsu... and Itachi's Genjutsu wouldn't stop Naruto from sensing the truth of any situation with his nature sensing. Itachi is VERY smart and would not waste his chakra even using a genjutsu against a Sage Naruto, he would conserve his chakra. People just assume that Itachi would use Genjutsu... but Itachi is a genius, he only uses genjutsu when he thinks it will work. Itachi would realize it wouldn't work, and he would waste chakra, so he would not even attempt it.

Deidara is not beating sage mode naruto in this scenario. Couple of things that seem to be missed in this analysis. Hebi sasuke against deidara is a bit misleading, sasuke was not trying to kill him, he is trying to get information. Deidara is basically insane and cant control his motivations, so he fights sasuke despite the situation and fact that they want the same thing. This side as deidara is a weakness that is very exploitable honestly. The turtle island doesn't have any durability feats compared to a toad summon and size doesn't mean anything. Sage naruto for example has incredible durability feats. Also to put the feat into context, deidara planted his bombs on the exposed underside of the turtle and blows it up, flipping the turtle who was obviously off guard. It doesnt damage it at all though. Diedaras most powerful attack c0 can kill Manda, it doesn't completely erase him from existence though he even curses sasuke for being used like that before he dies. In the worst case scenario it ends up being a draw but naruto has 5 summons trying to keep him alive plus naruto himself who is very capable of finding a way out of situation like this. The toads have some of the best maneuverability we have seen in the verse, 3 of them jumping around with ranged attacks plus ma and pa who can also do devastating ranged jutsu are going to hit him even if he is flying away, they also have sound genjutsu which deidara has no counters for. C4 was created to counter sharingan users and has no real feats to speak of, we dont know if a wind user could for example blow away the microscopic bombs. The majority of deidaras bombs probably wouldn't even stop naruto, naruto could stop the rhino summon dead in its tracks and can smash through chakra rods which can pierce the tailed beasts and the top stongest characters during the war arc. A single punch from naruto could arguably kill deidara on its own, the paths of pain could tank hits from sage mode Jiraiya and counter them in some cases but only the deva path could fight sage mode naruto in the same way. Something a lot of people miss is while naruto has intel on pain the same can be said for pain himself. He has fought a sage mode user recently, faced ma and pa and a giant toad summon. Deidara would have no info at all in this fight. Plus Deidara had info against sharingan users in general and was aiming to kill itachi so had counters in place but still lost. Finally deidara is clearly shown to be inferior to hebi sasuke, who is a level below ms sasuke who is stated to be weaker then sage mode naruto by zetsu. Zetsu is used to tell us this kind of information so there is no reason to not believe him here. You can make the claim about matchups but again sasuke is actively not trying to kill him and if he was going all out from the start could probably kill deidara before he could pull off most of his attacks.

i agree that deidara loses but god damn your reasons are bad. ill debunk this and explain how i think it actually goes. ill provide chapter numbers for any new feats i bring up if you ask for them btw. deidara being insane and not being able to control his motivations is completely unfounded. he specifically wants sasuke dead so he can hurt itachi. its a win win. if itachi wants to kill him then he steals itachi's prey whilst also gaining battle experience against a sharingan and can learn how well his jutsu and eye stack up against sharingan. if itachi doesnt want him dead then well deidara will hurt itachi mentally which is a win for deidara. + the experience n shit. sasuke not going for the kill on deidara is only at the start. sasuke literally goes for multiple chidori's and even stabs the deidara clay clone (who he thought was the real deidara) directly in the heart. by time sasuke goes CM2 hes out for blood. also you can go all out and not be going for the kill lol. if sasuke was capable of bringing down deidara he would have done it before he literally had no more chakra and lost his arms. all of sasukes jutsu and sasuke himself are EXTREMELY precise. if he wanted to wound deidara but not fatally he easily could have so if he had the stats to make it happen. he has the jutsu and accuracy but not the stats. deidara is stronger sasuke is faster. thats my take on it. please name these "incredible durability feats" that sage naruto has...the thing this dude in the vid keeps saying is he tanks chakra rods with his bare hands but its literally shown in the fight that naruto imbues chakra and senjutsu into his palms with each strike and the chakra rods dont have any natural strength. they're quite literally just relatively sharp pieces of metal. they arent ANYTHING special until they pierce your body in which case they disrupt your chakra flow and allow the user to manipulate you and your chakra. but until they pierce you they're just like very bad daggers cause they arent that sharp..chakra rods are actually naturally flat they just get sharp when the user snaps them in half upon creating them 😭they are not that powerful if anything they're weak asf. they're entirely reliant on the users physical strength hence why pains are mid and madaras and obitos that damage the tailed beast and strong war arc characters are OP as fuck. so ur point for naruto breaking them and naruto tanking them are both ass. the toads in character dont move as much as you're acting like they do. they CAN but they don't. the frogs also just don't have any durability feats to suggest they're tanking deidaras bombs..they get blown back by basic shinra tensei with 5 second cooldowns and even some random ass leaf jonin are seen tanking the shinra tensei. and we know more power directly corolates to a longer cooldown but no such cooldown was ever suggested to be given after tendo broke every bone in the frogs bodies...i mean gamabunta in pt1 literally says if he continues to fight the 1 tails shukaku then he's going to die. deidara defeated the 3 tails with ONE bomb that didn't even have a name. it was fr a random bomb and deidara one shot it. not sure how these summonings are surviving. why we think summonings that are weaker than the weakest tailed beast are capable of doing anything against the people who literally hunt perfect jinchuriki and treat it like a slight inconvienence is genuinely beyond me. C4 doesnt need any feats. madara states that its impossible to train your eternal organs and C4 works by the opponent breathing in the bomb then getting blown up from the inside. in other terms your organs go kaboooom if the bombs go off. and yeah your right that wind style may be able to blow the bombs back but not only is there ZERO proof naruto could know where the bombs are as he has 0 feats showing him being able to detect chakra at such a small level but naruto also has no windstyle jutsu that actually acts like wind...wtf is he gonna do throw a rasenshuriken?? its not exactly like the rasenshuriken creates a super strong wind blast thats gonna knock all the bombs away. and if he tries to use more than one rasenshuriken hes gonna get knocked into base form and then he just loses to deidara. he has to finish it in sage mode. the second he falls back into his base form hes gonna become substantially slower than deidara and have 0 durability feats to suggest hes tanking any bombs. none of the pains tank jiraiya's hits..the jutsu get absorbed and they get beatup by his punches. not sure why you think a naruto punch kills deidara but go ahead and prove that. zetsu never once says the MS sasuke thats above hebi sasuke is weaker than sage mode naruto. the statement is made about pre kage summit sasuke and im pretty sure its even pre bee fight so he hasnt even awakened the MS yet. either way karin literally says sasuke's chakra halfway through the 5 kage summit has only just then became as powerful as hebi sasukes with the curse mark. tobirama also explains that the colder an uchiha's chakra and the more hatred they have the stronger they are so this can be interpreted as sasuke only then surpassing hebi sasuke as he regained the arguable 10x multiplier the curse mark provided with his MS and susanoo. either way hebi sasuke is above the sasuke that stated to be below naruto. if naruto can kill deidara before his sage mode runs out he wins. i think he can but your reasons for him being able to SUCK. If naruto can't kill him before his first sage mode runs out then deidara demolishes him since he could one shot the 3 tails and base naruto has 0 scaling to something like the 3 tails in base. tailed beast are stated to be able to destroy continents with their bijuu bombs and deidara one shot a tailed beast which would have to be able to tank its own bijuu bombs to be able to use them due to the conversion of energy just working like that..the energy has to first be tanked by the supplier before it can be launched. so deidara's regular bombs are stronger than continental 3 tails bijuu bombs so base naruto is just dead.

Are we really debating whether SM Naruto can do what Hebi Sasuke did pre Itachi? Are we actually that disigingenous? SM Naruto would OBLITERATE Deidara. Deidara barely beat early Shippuden Gaara and he used dirty tactics to do so. His C4 would be sensed by Sage Naruto and C3 wouldn't be enough to take him out what so ever. Also, the Rasenshuriken can be thrown and expand. Deidara dodging it simply wouldn't be enough, considering Naruto has landed his Rasenshuriken on every opponent he's thrown it at, including the third Raikage, Pain and Madara/Obito. Madara has absorbed it once but it would've hit him regardless. Naruto's accuracy with the Rshuriken is 100%. Deidara doesn't have much for defence and it'd be foolish to believe he could survive it if it hit him. Wind has no specific weakness to earthstyle, so it would shred through any clay birds too. There's also just a pretty massive stat gap between the two. SM Naruto absolutely is much faster, he was faster than Pain too... he's obviously much more durable and much stronger, so are his attacks apart from C0 and maybe C3 could possibly contend, but Rasenshuriken is still far more powerful than that. He has the two sage toads, who can perform different long distance powerful jutsu themselves and can put someone in a powerful genjutsu (yes Deidara wouldn't be able to break it). He has his big summons, who can leap really high and assist Naruto in getting to Deidara. Sage precognition and even neele that hits when it misses.. So no, Deidara doesn't stand much of any chance. Again, unless we wanna say Hebi Sasuke is stronger than SM, Deidara gets negged fairly low to mid difficulty. Everyone who has ever scaled knows that SM Naruto is actually stronger than even full MS Sasuke, who should be able to shit on Hebi consistently... so yup.

A really awesome thought. What if Samahada absorbed the sage chakra, giving Naruto a false sense of security when suddenly a frog tongue sticks out of its mouth and wraps around his body absorbing all the nature energy. Kisame wouldn't be able to use the chakra but Samehada just got more dangerous.

I feel like the naruto vs itachi one is filled with bias ngl. Naruto can’t dodge Amaterasu when it’s a straight fire attack that naruto can sense the chakra being built up for and itachi has to look directly at him. Saying sage mode would allow him to dodge a raikage possibility superior to the one that dodged Amaterasu but not Amaterasu itself when reaction time and being able to tell the jutsu is being charged is all you need and that’s exactly what he has. sage mode naruto could duck out of the way of the 3rd raikage but he can not run as fast as him so even IF the 3rd was as fast as the 4th (which you cant prove) that not does mean this naruto WHO IS STRONGER THAN PAIN ARC NARUTO could dodge the amatarasu so neither can PA naruto. also the raikage who fought sasuke and dodged the amatarasu had a huge mental amp so its not even like hes at his normal speed levels. hes far above them. amatarasu also scales to the users speed and itachi is relative to EMS sasuke whilst the raikage dodged MS sasukes amatarasu. not even the strongest form of MS sasuke either. we see that sasuke can tag madara with amatarasu later so its definitely dependant on the users own speed or perception speed. also saying naruto would fight with his eyes closed at this point of the series is stupid. in the kazekage rescue arc naruto found out just how dangerous itachi's genjutsu was and learned not to look him in the eye but the very next time they meet he looks itachi dead in the eyes for half a fucking chapter and gets the kotoamatsukami crow shoved down his throat AND caught in a genjutsu. naruto is not smart enough to simply close his eyes because hes fighting itachi. he'd likely do it AFTER getting caught in another genjutsu if the frogs can break him out but considering itachi is so many levels of speed above this naruto i dont even see how he'd have time to break out. all itachi needs is his hands feet and a kunai and narutos gonna be dead in 2 pages at the most.

Finger genjutsu literally doesn't matter, sure Naruto could fight with his eyes closed but I highly doubt he would considering he literally just didn't against edo Itachi. If Naruto gets hit by a genjutsu it's GG. If Naruto gets hit by amaterasu it's GG and there's no evidence that sage mode Naruto is fast enough to dodge it. Just like the fight with lee and Sasuke, even if you can see what's coming that doesn't mean you can avoid it, and I don't think Naruto is physically able to avoid amaterasu. But EVEN IF I grant you that sage mode Naruto has a counter for amaterasu and tsukuyomi, there is no way sage mode Naruto is doing anything to his susanno. AND we know that Itachi's taijutsu is strong enough to contend with sage mode because it contended with KCM1 which is superior to sage mode. Naruto is outclassed in nearly every metric here and his only win con being the rasenshuriken just gets blocked by a susanno.

Naruto shows us in the final valley that if he just deactivates his kcm cloak amatarasu goes away. Naruto can break out of finger genjutsu as it's just normal genjutsu which jiraiya taught him how to escape from and Naruto in Shippuden literally uses the technique to break out. Kcm1 wasn't going all out against Itachi and you literally can't prove kcm1 is similar in physical strength to sage mode. And you could argue Naruto couldn't avoid amatarasu but that's only if you can prove how fast itachis is which you can't. It's only speed feat is taking 100 years to hit Sasuke and hitting an off guard obito.. As for wincons if Naruto can hit Itachi with frog kata he should just die since that hits your eternal body which you can't train to make stronger. In other words Itachi just dies. This would work on susanoo too as it would just bypass it. Ofc this is assuming Naruto can hit him which he can't but you never gave any speed feats for Itachi so that's not really relevant here. Rasenshuriken also just destroys chakra and your chakra network on a cellular level so no susanoo is not tanking it. Kakasu fight Naruto can throw his rasenshuriken at adult Sasuke a perfect susanoo and it's destroying it if he doesn't counter it in some way. That's just how the jutsu works. It's like how the truth seeker orbs will instantly destroy ANYTHING they touch if it doesn't have six paths powers. For example if baryon Naruto had no six paths powers and got hit with juubitos truth seeker orbs he's just dead. The only way the susanoo blocks the rasenshuriken is MAYBEEE the yata mirror but that's unlikely. The yata mirror changes it's properties to deflect jutsu so it changes it's type etc but it's still just chakra. It can change in size and change what kind of chakra it is but it's still just chakra which the rasenshuriken would just eat right through. Hax wise Itachi is ass against Naruto. The argument you want to make for Itachi is that he's above EMS Sasuke who's comparable or faster than Kcm2 Naruto who can fight obito on even footing even tho obito was previously blitzing kcm1 Naruto. So essentially Itachi just blitzes Naruto so badly that no hax are even relevant or needed.

This is what most power scalllers do they use the A>B>C method This is why it's bs most of the times A and B are at the same level and C is stronger than both. (C> A=B) C can only be defeated using a certain attack (let's call it red energy) and A possess the red energy which means he can potentially beat C. If A beats C by any chance then A>C However as B=A then B and A>C, even though B doesn't have the red energy to beat C. You have to look at abilities of every one see match ups.

I think one thing to consider about Naruto’s durability in Sage mode (and this is more or less my assumptions based on writing) is that there’s a difference between Naruto tanking Pain’s chakra receiver via defense and just standing there doing absolutely nothing. I say this because it only takes a single tiny needle to prick your skin for the battle to be over so if Sasori can miraculously catch Naruto off guard, I think it’s GG’s.

For Itachi I see him a bit as an on-shooter.. he can finish a fight in a few seconds and compensate for his lack of stamina.. he didnt really give deidara any respect he kinda just rambled and didnt prove anything for like 10 minutes. he said deidara flipped turtle island but never proved why thats a good feat. he said turtle island is as big as the leaf village but never proved that. he said deidara was as fast as hebi sasuke but deidara literally says several times that hebi sasuke is so quick that he HAS to take to aerial combat to win. sasuke is much quicker than him. he said deidara=hebi sasuke then said sasuke could keep up with itachi but then in the itachi section he literally says itachi held back against sasuke and didnt even try and was casually keeping up with sasuke. obito also says to sasuke "if itachi wanted you dead then you'd be dead". he said deidara hits harder than konan and didnt prove it. he even said deidara's bombs wouldnt do that much damage to sage naruto...the only thing he did to give deidara respect is say C4 kills naruto and its one of the best jutsu in naruto and thats literally the same shit everyone says so its not anymore respect than deidara usually gets. its not a very uncommon thing to believe that if someone like hashirama breathed in C4 then he'd die. even someone like baryon mode naruto would die. its not a matter of power at all. if you breathe the bombs in then you die as its stated you cant train ur eternal organs in naruto so deidara's bombs will just blow them up.

Correction: Naruto does have a way to fly. It is demonstrated in the Naruto vs Gaara fight that the Transformation jutsu may be used on Gamabubta. He turns into the Nine Tailed Fox because he needs claws to hold onto Shukaku. So Naruto’s summons can use Transformation jutsu to turn into a bird and then fly

Using Pain's Chakra rods as an argument in favor of Naruto's durability against piercing damage isn't really a good argument. The rods aren't very strong and they look to be completely smooth outside of the tips. Naruto does not tank those cause otherwise how does pain pierce his skin with them at the end of the battle? And Kakashi broke one with one hand without too much effort. And the rod Naruto broke, he broke before it actually got to his skin

Something that you're forgetting about with some of these fights-- mainly Deidara-- is the substitution technique. We see countless times throughout the series, even as far back as the Land of Waves Arc, that these characters can throw a kunai or shuriken and then switch places with it. Naruto can swap out with his summons, his shadow clones, and anything they throw. You can also couple that with the transformation technique feint that we see used in Naruto VS Pain. You also completely ignore Naruto's shadow clones. Sure, he can only summon three of them while two are gathering sage chakra but even just that gives Naruto a massive advantage. After all, Naruto's clones are every bit as powerful as he is. If Naruto gets into melee against Deidara, he's just done. There's not a damn thing Deidara could do after that except get clapped. Similarly with Konan and her paper ocean, Naruto pretty much only needs to land one clean hit and he has quite a few ways to get that opening thanks to, again, the substitution technique. I'd still say that Naruto wins both of these fights more often than not. I'd say that the only ones that Naruto absolutely loses to are Pain, Obito, and Itachi.

On the itachi segment, sage mode gives naruto sensory abilities that would allow him to fight with his eyes closed if he needed to. It's probably a trade off considering it's probably not perfect perception, but it seems most of Itachi's genjutsu needs the target to see it, so he could counter that part of his kit when needed

Sasori's poisons would be absorbed through Naruto's skin even if there was no wound, so Sasori would just need to sac a few puppets to get some hits in then outlast Naruto. He's also fighting.... well Naruto, so it's not like he's gotta worry about an antidote. The toads would be deciding factor then, and tbh I think they get bodied. I'm not saying he's guaranteed a win, but i think it's worth considering.

Maybe not all sage modes are the same and some exhibit specific physical transformations as a sign of their adoption. Or at least for the ones based on hunting animals. The hunting instinct takes over the user, transforming their body, whereas animals lower on the food chain don't have that killer instinct and thus don't impress the user with their physical forms. Would be an interesting logic if Kishimoto decided to go that deep with it

You are stretching quite a bit. Saying deidera is very fast because itachi swapped hands with Kcm Naruto and comparing hebi Sasuke with war arc Itachi. That would suggest hebi Sasuke didnt get faster when he fought kabuto and when he fought deidera would be the same speed. Wich isnt the case at all

It's important to mention that the Rasenshuriken completely destroys the entire chakra network. So if Hidan would get hit by it he'd most definitely lose access to every jutsu and likely his immortality.

clones being destroyed by other people have never once been shown or stated to give back the remaining chakra to the user. only the knowledge the clones gain gets returned to the caster. kinda a reason why naruto makes 1000 clones is out of breath and fatigued and is still fatigued when they all get destroyed literally everytime it happens in pt1 and all of the time in part2 when he doesnt have kuramas chakra...

Itachis stamina issue is made up by the fandom. A sick and dying Itachi is more than enough to outlast the one that Sasuke fought. If he went all out Itachi would've killed Naruto before he died. But he doesn't need to go all out, spam, and waste his energy to beat that version of Naruto

Even without Samehada he was going up against 7th gate Guy and was about to absorb his power and return double to him but the ONLY reason he lost was because Guys move didn't have chakra. Not saying Kisame is stronger but that fight would've went differently. Even Obito and Danzo even agreed that he was stronger than Sasuke and a kid Itachi was so strong that he saved his mom who was a jonin at 5 with the same taijutsu that Sakura and Tsunade uses when they coat their hands in chakra and enhance their strength. Orochimaru didn't even try to take his sharingan. He'd prefer an older 16 year old Sasuke. His stamina problems is a myth. Not to mention he's one of the smartest characters with a wide range of jutsu like water, wind style, and explosive clones. Obito can't use Kamui on him since he'd have to stare at Itachi and keep his eyes open. Itachi has Tsukuyomi which isn't confirmed that Obito can avoid it. Itachi is fast enough to turn his head and react with Tsukuyomi since his reaction speed is comparable to Minato and he has the sharingan. Obitos izanagi also gets countered with Izanami. By the way senjutsu frog attacks ignore armor and duability. They deal internal damage. When it comes to flying naruto used shadow clones to keep himself in the air and change trajectory. Also naruto can use clones to distract diedera and kisame and escape the water prison just send them in diferent directions. Also remember the 2000 clones every time naruto used that, he beat the shit out of his enemies and never lost.
