I love my Sager NP6877CQ. This thing has been a dream since i've gotten it 3-4 months ago. Im definitely a loyal Sager customer until they prove otherwise but for now they exceeded my expectations with this laptop. Its also beautiful and minimalistic. The best keyboard and speakers ive ever felt and heard on a laptop. Mine is a 17.3 inch 120hz screen and has the 10th gen i7 with gtx 1660ti. It's so fast, great performance and great temps.
@Grimmjow198724 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome man. Thinking about getting one with the rtx 2070 super 17.3 144hz. What’s are your temps when gaming ? And what games and FPS do you get? Thanks
@CantTreadOnMe4 жыл бұрын
@@Grimmjow19872 Hey so I can run any game at ultra and get at least 60fps without a problem. But for some examples on Jedi Fallen Order I can get a consistent 110-120fps if I set it to high and if I go ultra I will average between 80-90 and some intense areas will dip to 70-80fps. Outer Worlds is pretty much the same give or take a few fps. And for intense games like those my gpu temp avg is 73-75°c and after a few hours it will pretty much top out at 80°c and my cpu will avg 70-72°c and top out around 78°c after a few hours. For 2d games like Ori and Blind Forest for example I easily maintain 120fps and my cpu temps will average 50°c and gpu 55°c and will top out at 60°c after hours of play for both gpu and cpu. But in alot of 2d games i've seen my fps as high as 400+fps. But I will usually cap it at 120 for my screen. I also gotta add that I did do a CPU undervolt on Intel XTU and took it to -.100 so that surely reduced my cpu temps which originally averaged about 10°c higher than the numbers above which still was well within safe and normal operating temps. My cpu is rated for 105°c so a 82 avg pre undervolt was completely normal since I had called intel about it and asked. But the undervolt is easy and knocked a good 10°c off my cpu temps so it's something I would definitely consider if you do get the laptop. Hope that was helpful.

@romancenturion85 жыл бұрын
@@vile1009 the build quality is acceptable. It doesn't feel cheap but it also doesn't feel like a luxury notebook like a macbook. I have the 2070 version with the 144hz screen and I can tell you it's a powerhouse. The screen is one of the best 144hz IPS panels on the market and looks great. Mine has the slightest amount of backlight bleed in the left corner but it's unnoticeable unless the screen is completely black. Check your screen for backlight bleed as soon as you get it and return it if there is too much as this seems to be a quality control issue on a lot of them. Battery life is pretty poor all round. While not gaming expect 2-3 hours and while gaming expect about an hour. If that is not long enough you can always go into the BIOS and enable switchable dynamic graphics which will turn off the dedicated GPU and use the CPUs integrated card unless you tell it not to. This adds about an hour and a half of battery life. The cooling on the laptop is very good for it's high wattage specs. That being said under stress test benchmarks I did have some power limit throttling to the CPU but a slight undervolt solved that problem. Additionally the track pad is quite average but the left and right buttons on the track pad are pretty terrible and mushy. If you use a mouse like most people this well never be an issue though. The keyboard feels pretty good but there are definitely better keyboards out there. The software for configuring the RGB backlight is underwhelming and doesn't let you chose as many options as I'd like. For the most part it just have it set to a single color or I turn it off completely. It's really easy to upgrade and comes with two m.2 slots and a 2.5" bay which is very nice for expandability. Additionally, the ram it comes with is a single stick so adding in another stick of 2666mhz boosts CPU performance slightly. Overall, I love the laptop. It's a great workstation if you pop another 16gb stick in the back. And doesn't have all the gross gamery bling other laptops with similar specs have. Additionally the because of the thin bezeled screen the 15.6" is more similar to a 14" in which is great for portability.

This is one reason i hate Clevo. Look at your keyboard temps where your hands are WASD. Those are hot. Clevo always had bad keyboard temps and this is no different. not sure why you think it's comfortable temps but to me those are same temps as some of the thin offerings from MSI and Acer and other reviewers said they are unacceptable. My Predator Helios 500 don't even hit 30 in those areas. Even the Blade RTX 2019 has much lower temps than this readout. Sigh Clevo hasn't changed...

The Helio 500? No thanks! Like typical Acer products, they don't hold up well. Additionally, this Sager looks much better than the 500, in my opinion.

I had very bad experience with clevo/sager . There will be something wrong with it from the start and then they will keep breaking until they die. Will never buy unknown brand electronics ever.

What happened to your notebook?
@foonijani5 жыл бұрын
@@meji6581 One of M2 slots was speeding down after 1st few minutes of use. Keyboard keys stopped responding after a year and am still changing keyboard every year cause keys keep dying. DC jack started to heat up to the point that it started melting solder and dc jack plastic. Screen kept blinking as 980m is damaged so i run it on intel graphics. Bottom rubber pads just fell off. Body started to crack. etc etc.... 4 year of usage says its pure garbage stay away.

@TotheK I N G D O M I have used it for years and i know what happened to it. I have much more knowledge than you about computers so i know what i am saying. Stop defending your cheap junk. One can get good brands for same or even cheaper price now. Clevo is junk and so are you.

I've been buying Sagers/Clevos for over 15 years. Phenomenal products, and very reliable/customizable. Please don' listen to, Jack Wood. "Unknown brand electronics." Hilarious, and delusional!

Clevo got absolutely stupid plug and socket for power supply. Maximum you can use this socket 1 year, after you need replace power supplay transformer, becouse nobody produce this stupid plug and socket :) It cost about 100 us dol :) Monitors holders not good quality too, and maximum one year you can use this very very expensive laptop at active mode :) Actually without cooler pad you can not play any normal games long time :)
