Watching Ashley and Doug work on projects makes me aware of just how productive they are. They accomplish the same same amount of work as at least 4 workers hired to do jobs. ​@@heavenboundhomestead126 You just reminded me that years ago my sister was sweeping out her car and her long hair got caught in the sweeper bar and it pulled her head right up to the bottom of the sweeper before she could get it turned off. I'm not sure an oscillating tool could really hurt someone in the same way. It doesn't spin, it vibrates. She may cut her hoodie strings off though. But, better safe than sorry though.

My goodness! A short blonde person lost a front tooth! Congratulations! Belle, there are some good KZbin channels that might interest you. Ana White designs and builds furniture. She lives in Alaska. Rambling Rosie moved from the UK to Sweden to a small house in the woods. This house was neglected, and she is repairing it and also making built-in furniture to make her home more functional. These are things that interest me. Doug and Ashley, I am very impressed with the work that you have done. I realize that cleanup on the site seems never-ending. I have found that a clean work area is a lot safer than its opposite. What I have done in the past is to set a time for stopping a project for the day and spending a quick half hour picking up and cleaning. It feels so much better in the morning, arriving at a clean site. Also, no turned ankles or knees. No staples or nails in the soles of boots or sneakers. No falls, resulting in broken fingers. I'm talking about personal experiences here. May all of your projects be blessed and safe. May we all grow in spirit and wisdom.📚🫖🐈‍⬛🧘‍♀️🖖🦀🐳🐙🏡

Cleaning as you go is definitely a personal preference thing. I cannot work in a mess. I could not come back the next day to a mess then star again. I also can't start cooking dinner with any dirty dishes in the sink or on the countertop. But, it is a to each their own situation.

much of most projects have considerable times of tedious work to wade through,or things needing doing that are some sort of trial to you .Some of us manage to take it in our stride, while others of us are seriously put off .When I was young my mother was teaching me to knit and I frequently became frustrated by dropped stitches etc .We had no television in those days and not many diversions handed to us,so knitting was quite a large part of our lives. We knitted all our own cardigans and so forth anyway,and needed the skill. I would become so annoyed with it ,and would throw my cobbled knitting in the fire .Oh my poor Mum.By fire I mean the indoor fireplace we’d sit around cozily.My lack of patience,somewhat curtailed these days but still with me,leads me to admire that quality when I see it in others. I certainly admire your patience as I see it in action ❤.

The leaf blower was a fantastic idea last time. So much so that I decided to try it out after sanding drywall top to bottom. I did use a shop vac, but I put a fan in the window and used a leaf blower on the finer stuff and that was the cleanest dust removal that I've ever done...and much easier.

Awesome! The other day we used the leaf blower to do a big cleanout of our bus and it was awesome. Way better and more fun than using a vacuum or broom :D

I've been enjoying this series! My buddy just bought some land that came with a trailer on it that he plans to renovate in a similar fashion. It's nice to see what we're in for. When you look at a gutted trailer it makes you think... what did I actually pay for? About 100 2x4's and a tin roof, which doesn't matter if the price was right, but it's still funny. Anyway, I look forward what's next!

Doug for next time when you pull out that old insulation. Gentle suggestion GET A BIG TRASH CAN & DROP THE DRYWALL OR INSULATION DIRECTLY INTO THE CAN . Then it will be less of a mess everywhere for Ashley to clean up also it will contain some of the mess. I sure wish my old brain would have suggested this in the beginning. I thought I suggested this back when you started demo but I didn’t. GOD BLESS from West Central Indiana Farmland
