You don’t need to explain your decisions, it’s your house and you are the bosses. The haters out there have nothing else to do but complain about others. You are doing a great job. Redoing things is sometimes necessary if you want to do a good job. I admire the way you and your family work. Belle’s creations with wood are pretty cool. Imagine what she could do with screws and nails. Have a great day.

The work that you guys do is never overkill You do it right the first time around you make the homes structurally secure and that is a wonderful thing in anyone that’s putting a home together. You have already made it a 100 times better than it was and in some ways better than when it was constructed new... Keep up the great work...

Much better to 'do the job right' now than to half do it and possibly have problems later. I wouldn't call anything you are doing on the mobile home rebuild as overkill. We contracted a job to replace a bay window similar to what you have by framing the opening for a picture window and two operable single-hung windows, the same height off the floor as the other windows. There really wasn't that much labor. The windows were white a standard size purchased from a mobile home dealer. The job turned out nice with the stained inside trim. Just a thought. You're doing a great job.

Love your videos!! Belle, I hung out at my Dad’s builds when I was your age. We owned 40 acres. My Dad came home for lunch everyday. When he would hire out the electrical work he would tell me when they were done and I would come to the job site and pick up all the ‘coins’ the electrician would punch out of the metal boxes. They became my ‘play’ money. It is a treasure I so enjoy remembering. 🥰

Doug and Ashley, I think you're doing a fantastic job. And you know it's good. You're doing it now and not thinking about it later. And wishing you would have done it. No judgment here. I am thinking you are doing fantastic. It's looking great. You are bringing so much new life to that home. I look forward to every video you make. I don't always comment on everyone but I haven't missed one yet. I am learning so much through your rebuild, I lived in a mobile home much like this many years ago. When I lived in my mobile home many years ago that was the first home I had owned. Now I'm in a regular house. And your video is bringing back sweet memory of my home years ago. I had a big window in the front in my kitchen of my mobile home. The only thing is there was a counter, so it wasn't a full window. I was kind of wondering if you were gonna fill in the bottom partof that big kitchen windowas much as it's nice for light but it's also the bottom being filled in is nice for privacy. My mom has full windows like that. And she puts a curtain across the bottom. I am excited to see all the steps ahead how you are transforming this home. You and Ashley Belle and Maverick, you are a great team. Your children are amazing. I think you and Ashley should be very proud.❤ Much love from Minnesota. Like someone said in the comment I would buy a Home from you in a heartbeat, the detail the awareness and the quality you do in the care you give to your projects.
