Asian dessert made with sago, plam sugar and coconut milk for parties or family gatherings. The exceptionally rich flavours of this dessert had my guests asking for seconds!
www.nyonyacooking.com/recipes/sago-pudding-with-gula-melaka
Whenever I have guests coming over, I always prepare a full course meal along with dessert. While so much time had been spent in preparing the main dishes, a simple dessert that could be done in the shortest time possible is welcome. It would be most befitting if the dessert represents the flavours of Malaysia, too. With that in mind, I would always settle for sago pudding with gula melaka (palm sugar) because of its simplicity in preparations as well as its deliciousness.
When completed, this pudding looks amazingly gorgeous especially when palm sugar is drizzled over it. This recipe yields about 4 pieces of sago puddings although the coconut milk is sufficient for at least 8 to 12 pieces of the puddings.

Nvm I made this all on stove top in it was delicious and made this recipe but made five times more cause I had a party and they were amazing!!!!!! Expect I put more than 5 times the amount of water for the gula Melaka( I don't know what I was thinking) so I just boiled it until it evaporated and they were delicious. The coconut milk gave it a not so plain taste and the gula Melaka made it sweet and yummy! Will definitely make this again

I tried using Pandan Sago instead. It came in a bag. I wanted to do more so i dumped the whole bag into the pot. Omg it was super starchy like old styled glue. Had to wash off the starch a bit at a time and so far it looked the same as how yours turned out. Now waiting for the results from the fridge. Will post pix of it soon :)

Plus, you speak in English and can widely understood by people around the world and the videos are nicely edited. My friend introduced me to your cooking channel and guess what she's not even a Malay. I'm so happy to find it. You've done an excellent job but I don't understand, what's with the hate? At least, she can tell you what you can do to improve your channel but forget it. I praise your work and many Malaysian will thank you for your hard work especially for us young beginners.
