I too feel the same feelings as yours. In fact I am going through the videos of Saheb Academy and also Magnet Brains to jog my memory on accountancy. Basics is really a treasure. It's like air in the tyre, not visible but you just can't run a Benz without it. Technology is undoubtedly a boon to younger generation. Must make use of it.

even if you debit in the outstanding salary a/c form the business , u can put a credit by cash in the journal , it wont effect the balance , since in the end the salary account would be debited in from the outstanding a/c which will be credited by cash a./c to the business
