What a stupid interview. If you can alternate between english and hindi, why not do the whole show in hindi and add subtitles for int. viewers. You clearly made the star of the show uncomfortable and took zero input from him. If Saif can do a punjabi character for Netflix I am sure he would have answered u back in hindi, had you considered. So I'm a second generation British-Indian that grew up resenting Bollywood because of its endless love ballads, over-the-top action and over-acting. But I have to say I love this series and I'm even watching it with my parents. Two generations, two different cultures, languages, dialects and even religious beliefs that can enjoy gripping, gritty and realistic Indian drama. Netflix thank you and please make more. This web series is mostly arranged like Narcos. Colombian drug traffickers spoiled the American society as well as world's by selling cocaine. In that web series you witness the culture orientation and education of Colombo.. Director narrated the story with most authentically. Infact you can criticise a Colombian watching Narcos. But The performance of each and every actors was so perfect that you may sometime feel acting in this very drama.... Sacred games based on book where most of the characters are fictitious. They very intricately detailed the story in this web series.. I recommend you to watch those episode to explore the cinematography, back ground music and the Delivery of high quality acting skills.. To NDTV and rest: I have seen narcos series(torrent downloaded) English version recently. I also seen it's similar interviews in English and Spanish. Now the sacred games series released in Hindi. And it doesn't have English subtitles for any other regional conversations. Which is very unique. So my point is why maximum interviews are done in English in India now a days, As movies and series are made in Hindi? I know this interview is taken by NDTV English channel. But there is no point, talking about Hindi work in English. If someone really wants to show their English skills, the best way to do that is to make an English play or a movie. Then they will understand their real talent then only. I appreciate Nawaz's modesty and simplicity in understanding the conversation's overall idea and explaining his negative character in a positive way. We all must learn from Amitabh bachchan interviews. He always maintain a strict balance between Hindi and English. He only speaks English in the places where it's mandatory or really necessary. And he also mention so called Bollywood as Indian Film Industry, unlike others.

It didn't sound like a real interview. Saif Ali Khan has played in many gangster movies so knowing about the cops and how the system works is one different thing. The lead role played in this Series of an Anti-Hero by Nawazuddin Siddique is everything and not that of Saif as Sartaj. Though language was a barrier for Nawaz Sir to speak they could have had more interaction with him because no one could watch this show with such an interest without him. I do watch Saif Sirs movies but this series was certainly not for him because his character was too lame and doesn't develop anywhere till the end of the show.

Ridiculous to see Saif Ali Khan speak without ever giving Nawazuddin a chance ! Completely hogging all the limelight- makes sense -he has struggled to get work for a long time . One can see Nawazuddin being gracious - like any mature and secure person would do- let the “ kid” ramble. Just because the interviewer asks q’s in English doesn’t mean Nawazuddin can’t answer.
