Good episode ! We pulled a Yanmar 3YM30 whilst we were in Dubai for new piston rings. We then had another boat with a Volvo MD2040. Had issues with the Volvo and had to get a new heat exchanger core built in Sharjah. The Yanmar seemed a much better built engine IMHO 👍

We're so happy that we have a Yanmar. The Perkins are very reliable too. 👍

It's really nice to see Turkey from your point of view. I love that you did measurement conversion for the "Muricans" Inclusivity! Also the demonic eyeless look is awesome!

'Muricans' are a large part of our audience and we like to make life easy for people. We intentionally do the conversions because it annoys us so much when other channels don't convert to metric. 😀

Can you give more detail as to what they did to the Engine other than paint it ?????? . New piston rings was the engine sleeved did they even take the head off ??? New crank bearing caps and so on ??, you know me just love the details . Ps: Thailand looking to let travelers that have been inoculated for Covid 19 soon will tell you more when the info is released.

Basically it was a complete refurb of the engine. Everything stripped and parts replaced. I don't know all the fine details as I was dealing with a lot of A B Sea stuff during that time.

According to the map you showed - Yalova - is one of your "home ports." Which means - Termal - is in your future. Termal is one of the most wonderful places in the world. In 1967 we lived in Yalova - and the American base was Karamursel ten miles away. You guys are going to have so much fun. This will be one of the highlights of my year. By the way - have you two gotten any shots? Do you plan on it? I've got my two - and am ready to start golfing again this summer.

No we haven't because each year would be different. When things break they must be fixed immediately. When they don't break the money stays in our account. The variables are many. No one week is the same as the next.
