I've been on a kick watching different sailing channels lately, and I've got to say you are one of the top ones that I look forward to watching. I love your videos, cinematography, editing, and how both your personalities come through on these videos.

Fantastic..location is stunning for sure, but so is your shooting, editing, voice-over, use of music..wow. It looks like you hired a pro to come produce your stories, and I am a pro so I can tell you that this story was really well done. I for one could care less about all the chart plotting, but I bet others might find that interesting. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story. You two, your relationship, your emotions, your dreams, the little kiss at sundown, are all that makes your stories so great. Thank you again for sharing your lives with us all!

This will be one of my favorite RR episodes. T: You were correct in feeling a tad nervous decamping, as you were, from a harbor filled with accidents looking for a place to happen. Nick: Your commentary.. Pure poetry. Literature spoken. And that scenery... I'm off to watch it again.

I smiled when I heard your remark about one should go back and do some "old school navigation". Using charts, dividers, and other manual navigation tools. I had suggested several months ago to you that one should also develop navigation skills, such as celestial navigation, to back up the modern tools such as chart plotters and GPS. Your remark was that there was no need, having multiple electronic navigation tools such as handheld GPS units as backup. The satisfaction of gaining a "fix" with a sextant and tables is not gained. Well ..... nice to see you come a little way back to the "old ways" of plotting on a chart and calculating tides. Stay safe!!!!

What kind of catamaran were you two chartering/renting? Looks like something in the 40' range, if not a bit smaller. I know this was way back in November, and now you're stuck in London, but I hope there's a tour of the boat. Anyway, it looks like you two had a great time in Thailand.

Stunningly beautiful surroundings. Hope you do a tour of the boat in a future episode. What appears to be an open saloon on the boat is interesting. Were insects (other than the weevils Terysa refused to eat) an issue? Also, great to see Terysa Captain the boat with Nick as the deck hand!

Weevils are easily removed from rice. Like you said they float in water and you need to rinse the starch from the rice anyways which takes care of them. Even if you didn't get every single one of them they are not typically dangerous to ingest "slight chance of pesticides". Working as a merchant mariner cook Ive had to deal with this on occasion, you just have to be a little more diligent during prep and cleaning.

Thank you so much - Outstanding 4K - absolutely loved this escape film from my perch in Fulham - perfect in pseudo lockdown, where all the nurses, cleaners, luxury flat builders in Lots Road all essential workers driving their Bentley SUVs and rag top Rollers along Chelsea Embankment everyday, really drive home the English exceptionalism of protecting the #NHS by staying home, ‘you can’t tell me what to doism’ or maybe that’s just stupidly well heeled Londoners for whom Lockdown is for plebs... lol - ANYWAY.... your new life aboard a cat looks to be very challenging 🤣

So good to see my stomping ground from different perspective. That pilot book has good info but the joy is anchoring places at dusk when all tour boats have just left and leaving before any come back next morning. Prawns fresh from longtails - cheap and best taste ever.. boil in local rice wine rather than BBQ. weevils go away as soon as you leave the rice out in the sun for an hour.. any that don't just float out when you rinse the rice anyway.
