Yet again, another Natl Geo quality video. Maybe it's your wonderful Brit accent and the dramatic music ?? It's amazing and I love to watch your adventures. I'm from Indiana, USA and my husband and I sailed for 33 years and always wanted to retire to boat life and travel. Since I've lost him, your videos allow me to travel the world with you. Thank you so much.

No other sailing channel gives one a feel for the sheer height and power of the waves. It's awesome!

It's so great to see a couple that really appreciate the life you've chosen and can sail properly! I've been following you for years now, and you never disapoint.

You have a marvellous partnership and sail really well, I know how difficult at times a circumnavigation is, well done.

An absolute pleasure to watch. I doubt a professional filmmaker could add anything significant to what you do. Just brilliant.

The camera and drone work tell such a tale of northern sailing , beautiful. What a place! I love too the way that you remain true dinghy sailors at heart and seek to get the best out of the boat and never waste a fair wind..

I see: ‘this is the best sailing channel’ said about some of the weakest. There can only be one best… great sailing and great photography and two very cool people… two of the best sailors.

I am following an awful lot of sailing channels... you are the only one that gets the waves right... stunning videography!

You two are incredible. Been watching for years. You are like "Hey let's go here !!!" Everyone else is like "Jeeze, that seems a little sketchy." Then you go "Nah we got this." Then everyone likes the video.

I've been following you for years - actually remember you from you were just a couple of young kids! But still just love following you, and experiencing things "with" you. I have kids your age - and really think of you as some of my other "kids". You are fantastic and delightful human beings, and I'm so thrilled to "know" you. Thank you!

The standard of your videos is excellent. They are as well filmed, presented and edited as the best of nature films. Well done and thank you. To think each video is prepared and completed by a couple who are also busy sailing, exploring. You also explain what s happening and where you explore clearly and succinctly. BBC and Discovery and National Georgaphic watch out! Thank you again.

DAMN, that wind, coastline, the waves…The look like a magnificently dangerous sail. How invigorating is that? Much respect…Your sailing skills and Florence’s ability to keep you safe and successful is thrilling. You make me want to learn to sail. Thank you for sharing this. May God be with you…from the US, east Tennessee.

I for one was very happy that your plans had to be changed and you are sailing around the UK. I’ve always said that UK has some of the most beautiful sailing grounds and yet everyone wants to head to Greece or the Caribbean etc. and do the same ole thing over and over and over again. Your channel is as fresh as the sea breeze.

Great video of the waves and sea state. I know all the other sailing channels complain their videos do not give a true idea of how big the waves are. You seem to have mastered that part of the art filming for a sailing channel.

Amazing! Love the many perspectives given of the areas visited and the human spirit exhibited for the fun of adventure. Definitely get my sailing fix when I’m able to tune in to the next episode. So enchanted by the experience of the sail and the discovery of the day. Thanks for sharing so much of what you can. Can only imagine the temperatures with sea spray and callus winds up yonder while thinking fondly of those Viking brethren who came so many centuries before. Safe winds; safe landings. Cheers 🥂

After your last video an idiot 's comment encouraged you to "not become a tourist channel", that he watched for "the sailing". Of course, you two are too classy to ever respond to him. I presume he got his share of real sailing this week! I am a LONG time sub (almost from the beginning) coming out of the woodwork to thank you for what you do. You are the best KZbin sailing channel and it's not even close.

I was lucky enough to have lived for a couple of years in Shetland back in the late 70’s. I lived in a Croft about half a mile from Burrafirth and used to sail and race Albacore dinghies. Formed some wonderful friendships with the locals, mostly due to the sailing. We’ve been lucky enough to go back several times for extended periods pre Covid. I’d love to sail back, but I fear my old Westerly Konsort is probably more up to the task than her ageing skipper. Loving these episodes ❤

I live in Shetland. A couple months ago my husband and 2 crew took our yacht to a new berth on the west side. They also had to use the motor most of the time because of the wind and swells. Alas, sailing is extra hard work up here. 🎉 As for not seeing many boats - because of the time of year you went. Lambing season keeps most away from the water.
