We did!! It was fantaaastic, even better than we expected. Can really recommend Recife and Olinda for carnival. Spi is already repaired and held fine yesterday sailing along with the Cabanga yacht club regatta.

we were spoosed to stop in RIO for CARNIVAL on the world cruise on the USA NAVY ship I was on in the 80s ..... but there was some STUFF goin on in PANAMANAMANA and we didn't get to party cuz weill STUFF happened in 87 down there... ;) awesome vid! STAY SAFE :) LOVE JOY COMPASSION

Is your sail plan still being impacted by the shorter bowsprit from the original carbon fiber one? The original one was longer, right? Are the forward sails the original ones? How would your boat have performed differently with the original setup?

Not a lot different as most of our legs are downwind or reaching. Upwind in low winds were f.. kind of in a disadvantage

Great video once again but I couldn't help but notice at 19.09 you said Red Right Green left when you appeared to be entering the channel. Was this a bit of footage exiting that ended up in the wrong place ? Cheers
