Wonderful video guys. We especially enjoyed the real-time talk in the middle. I've done a good bit professionally in my life thus far and much of it has involved a challenging learning curve. Engineering, machining, welding, and Real Estate investing to name a few. Like most of life's meaningful pursuits, each one of those certainly involved a level of struggle to learn, apply, fail, try again, learn more, apply, and eventually accomplish to a degree that eventually made the endeavour worthwhile. With that said, none of those pursuits have been anywhere near as challenging (or rewarding) as "simply" going cruising on a sailboat with my family. It's one of those things that sounds easy enough at face value, but the amount of seemingly-never-ending challenges involved with cruising are on a whole new level. The only people who can truly understand this are the ones who have done it. Being one of those people, I believe my opinion carries some weight when I say that what you've accomplished already is considerable and I greatly commend you for all that you've done thus far. It's been fantastic being able to sail along with your family over the past few months and it's our hope to be able to cruise more with the Salty Escape crew in the future as well. -Ben, Tambi & Molly

I totally enjoy your video, and that positive message was very welcome. Also, we don't mind watching the bolts come undone!

Great video guys. I have added the Queen's Bath to our travel list. Thanks for sharing the insiration as well. I have sat in my electrical closet for over 6 weeks now and today I closed it for the first time in a while. The Victron system is working (for now) flawlessly. 👍👍 I have 1,400Ah of LFP batteries and a sweet galley running off them. Next addition, solar! ☀ Enjoy your remaining time in the Bahamas. I look forward to seeing more project once you are stateside. Cheers to you and your family!!!

Thanks Tom! Sounds like you’ve mirrored our set up very closely. 😊 we have so much power, there have been times where we have ran appliances just to use the surplus.

I loved making this video. This was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s been disheartening today because the KZbin machine has decided not to share our video with as many people as typical and views are way down as a result. It’s very frustrating and disheartening when this sort of thing happens but hopefully we’ll make up ground on the next one.

Nice location with a natural bubble bath and great company. If you happen to stop at Governor's Harbour, try to walk/get a ride to French Leave Beach on the eastern side of the island. Great pink sand beach and used to be the site of Club Med Eleuthera. It was damaged by a hurricane in late 90's early 2000s but Club Med decided to take the insurance money and not rebuild. Club Med used charter jets (707's) to fly people to nearby airport and resort employed a lot of local people. There still may be some ruins there, but the attraction is the pink sand beach.
