If you have weighing scales that hang from the ceiling I'm guessing they wouldn't be as effected by the boat moving, but that is just a guess.

If possible I would steer clear of anchoring near any sea grass. Different jurisdictions have different regulations but as an example, in Florida it’s a $1000 fine plus the cost of any restoration

Good option if you're making regular recipes is weight them on the dock and mark a container, or a cup with the levels they should be at, then you don't need scales. Do your brit pals have a channel I can't work out how to spell their name.
