So wonderful to see two young, intelligent great people living life like you do, not wasting it while you're young on the everyday grind. At 78, I'm so envious & happy for you both at the same time! BTW, my 103 year old mother (who's lived with us for 35 years) watches in wonder of your adventures & also LOVES you two! This is a beautiful wine toast she taught me years ago that is so apropos for you two when you click glasses... "Here's to health, love & wealth!" In that order. And your wealth is not measured in money. It's your full life together. Be safe. Sniff life, every bit, while you can. Love you guys.

Your channel should be required viewing for all high school aged students... Live your life, don't let life's dramas and circumstance rule your choices. We possibly may have more than one life, but each is a chance to find the treasures that may not seem achievable at first thought. You both have done the unimaginable quest for so many people. Just the scenery and life you have captured is worth more than you have endured, sacrificed and persevered through, to make that possible. Your parents should be so satisfied and proud they did their best to instill in you the possibilities that could be, and you are both proof of that viability. So happy for you and them. Never stop...

I’m with you, Kika. Stay on the boat and watch the pretty bears from afar. When I was little, me and my mom visited a safari park in South Africa during vacation. One day we were in our car, watching some giraffe on one side of the road. The we heard something. On the other side was an elephant flapping its ears at us. Our hearts stopped and my mom stomped on the gas to get us out of its way. When we were clear and away we both bursted out crying/laughing.

I don't care if in reality you made 1 or 10 takes of that wake-up of Kika. It was the perfect intro. Then this discussion about how you can't see the bears from close by and that the professionals have this huge preparation while all the time you interrupt that discussion with amazing closeups of the mother bear with the cubs from the drone. No, you could not your self get closer without safety problems, but you made again first class film. Each Uma Step is a jewel.

I've seen some great Sailing Uma episodes but this is one of the best. Not even Attenborough could capture that immersive realism - from waking Kika to the nervous looks over the shoulder during the pieces to camera as the reality of where they were was brought into sharp focus. Just loved it! Hurry up and come to Australia! PS Weird how guys never swim in really cold water but women do - oh actually maybe not that weird - teehee.

Sorry to disaloution you Polar Bears are some of the very few animals that actively hunt humans, during the summers they are very hungry as their food sources are not available, great to see but they would eat you given any chance.
@janus37593 жыл бұрын
Yes, although they are beautiful, they are the most dangerous animal you can ever meet, they are not afraid of humans. They use to hunt their food on the ice and the fact that the ice on the fjord is gone and that they have to swim out to a barren island to look for food just makes me sad. - A Norwegian.
