It's does my pet minded heart good to see how far he has come since you first saw him all matted down and dispirited. He learned to climb the ladders, became your right hand (paw?), knows the entire layout of your boat inside and out, and now has a buddy to boss around, lol. I am loving these 'dailies" even though I can only imagine how much time and effort they must take. We all appreciate you thinking of us. . .

i got pics of my old dog sat like that on a bean bag, she came over to see me, get a good ear rubbing, and was leaning against the bean bag beside her, gradually she ended up sat kind of side saddle - i was giggling so much, she gave me a very indignant look - as if to say, this is how you do it isn't it - but i got the pics and she repeated this another couple of times before she sadly passed away, a funny dog with bags of comical moments and a few challenging ones too great to have the batteries in place, you'll be firing them up soon enough, amazing work, will you be putting a strap across the top to prevent them going into orbit in case of rough weather

Hi Ben and M.P. Please fit a couple of large bilge pumps wired independently from all the others. At the moment all of Your bilge pumps run off of the same electrical circuit, if this goes down then You have No pumps to use. Wire a couple directly to the batteries via relays, fuses and switches as a back up. You can not think of everything but this may prove to be Yaba saver. You have come so far since I watched and commented on Your first Vid. Well Done to You both. Regards. David . Down Under.
@MichaelTodd-b2q11 ай бұрын
Keep on keeping on❤😊
@MrKingdavis1311 ай бұрын
Just a friendly heads up for M.P., it probably doesn't matter that much for low torque fasteners but that is improper handling of a torque wrench. It uses the fulcrum at the handle to determine torque so it is important to only apply force to the handle when tightening fasteners. And honestly I imagine it is even more crucial in low torque applications because when you have to pull hard you will surely want as much leverage as possible and be inclined to use the handle. Another good habit to get into is to use the shortest extension as possible as well because long extensions twist and skew the actual torque being applied to the fastener. Hopefully that didn't come across as being picky or whatever because I didn't intend that at all. Great job and fingers crossed that the weather breaks and you can make your timeline.

I watch your refurbishment and truly enjoy what you and your team are doing. I know nothing on boat building. I do have one concern. Where your bilge pump is placed, it seems to have empty gaps beneath the pump. If so, I'm assuming the empty spaces could fill up with water, fuel, dirt, etc.? Not knowing if you’re going to fill the empty spaces up level with the bilge pump. I recommend pouring in a filler so you won’t have standing fluids you can’t reach to eliminate any future decay. Just my two cents. Thanks for all you do!
@edrussell796011 ай бұрын
The gaps and such under the bilge pump shouldn't hurt much. Most boats do have a small bit of water in them at most times. This amount doesn't usually damage things especially in wood boats, if it's salt water anyways. It keeps the wood swelled together for a watertight fit actually. Fresh water is what they don't want to keep in there. That is what causes rot. This is generally speaking of course. You will be surprised how much water they are going to take on when they launch until all the dry wood they have swells together. It's going to be alot if they don't swell the wood prior to launch.

Ok Buttercup The Trick using the band saw 😳🤔 The Approach 😳 Which side of the line are you going to use? Start about the length of the Blade add a little side pressure not so much you move the Blade now back to the very back side of the blade , very little now keep the pressure on the one side Cut . Try it If it does now add a small band saw in the Sailing SHIP Let me know if it worked for you 🤔😃 In the net video mention ButterCup
