Man Usagi and Mamarou chemistry in Crystal season and Eternal is a 100 times more better than 90’s. Yes still love the 90’s since that’s was part of my childhood but when got older can see how forced it looked especially for one who is in college and one in middle school. But the new version it was a breath of fresh air and made me a 11 year old again inside.

I had the same feeling! I don't think I realized how aloof he was in the original anime (and I watched the DiC dub which did no favours for anyone's characterization.) In this version it's so much clearer on how much they love each other

Mamoru is actually still 17 in the anime, so the difference between him and Usagi isn't much. I agree that Usagi and Mamoru's romance is better in Crystal, but the 90s anime at least gave us a normal Haruka and Michiru couple, not like the manga where Haruka kisses Usagi on the LIPS but Michiru, he real girlfriend, doesn't does not kiss even on the cheek

I wish they kept this art style. It was the perfect blend of the manga and original style. Eternal/Cosmos looks weird and childish, S1&2 style was inconsistent. Crystal got it right.

Personally preferred the Crystal movie styles. A lot more budget and effort into the styling of the characters. Crystal series can be inconsistent and proportions are sometimes noticeably off especially the first season. I’m just glad the 3D transformations were removed later on because that was immersion breaking for me.
