Sailor Jupiter's attack is the only one that makes sense, because Jupiter is a thundergod. Well, Sailor Venus throws hearts, but so does Sailor Moon. Saturn was usually depicted with a scythe, but he is a harvest god, not a destruction god.

First of all, the Senshi's powers are inspired by a multitude of sources, not just the Greek Gods, and it should be pointed out that the Norse and Sumerians also associated their Gods with the planets, and the Greek gods were also often conflated with their counterparts in other religions. Mercury and Mars' powers are related to the Chinese elements, the wu-xing, which associate the first five planets with the five elements, Jupiter is also associated with wood, the wind and lightning either comes from her Roman namesake, or the i-ching which divides the five elements in to eight, with wood splitting in to wind and lightning. Her dragon attack also relates to wood, namely Quinglong, the Azure Dragon of the Four Gods representing wood and spring. This pattern ends with with Venus, the only metal themed attack she has is the love me chain. Mercury doesn't seem to be based on any one God, though Hermes was the god of language and invention, who was often conflated with Toth God of wisdom. She also was studying to be a doctor and the caduceus is a common medical symbol. Her Aqua rhapsody attack kind of relates to Hermes, but it would have made more sense as a lyre, not a harp. She really should have had a tortoise themed attack, Hermes crafted a tortoise shell lyre for Apollo, and in the Four Gods, the Black Tortoise is associated with water and winter. Venus actually seems closer to Ishtar or Freya, both of whom were associated with Venus, with Moon being closer to Aphrodite but was actually based of Chang'e. The similarity with their powers could also be explained by the fact that Venus was moons decoy, and technically, both are the leaders of the Senshi. Venus is also the morning star, so light attacks make sense for her as well as moon. Mars also seems to be based off Odin, God of War, magic and Runes, what with the two Ravens and the mystical talismans. Finally we get to Saturn. The connection between her powers and the harvest isn't obvious, but it does make sense. Her powers represent the cycle of life, death and rebirth, hers is a creative destruction, she destroys so the life can begin anew, like a farmer clearing their field for a new harvest, the trees dying in winter only to bloom in spring, the soil needs death and decay to nourish new life. She's probably closer to Shiva though, which makes sense since reincarnation is a big thing in this Universe. The only one that really confounds me is Uranus world shaking. One, Uranus is a sky deity. Is it related to the fact that Uranus mated with Gaia, thereby shaking the earth. The closest I can find is the i-ching where the planet is associated with mountain. Second, it would make more sense as a Neptune attack. Her powers are specifically related to the ocean and tides. Not only was Neptune the God of earthquakes, it's the tides that shift land masses. I'm not sure if this will help or just confuse you further.

@@kkerakkii1147 Right, Sorry. The comment turned out longer than I intended and by the end I just ran out of steam and wanted to finish. Right, so Pluto? There's a common misconception that Pluto and Saturn's roles should be the other way around. In Greek Mythology Cronus, God of the harvest, was often conflated with Chronos the Primordial personification of time. Similarly, people often forget the difference between a death God, and an Underworld God. The God of death was actually Thanatos, there was nothing destructive about Hades. Her Job as Guardian of Space-Time is just that, a job, unrelated to her Planets namesake. She is however said to be the daughter of Chronos, God of Time, which plays on the aforementioned conflation, Since Hades was the first born son of Cronus. Her power to stop time is also not an intrinsic power, and is specifically something she's not supposed to do. Her official title is Guardian of the Underworld between times, suggesting that in this context, the underworld is the realm where she resides. She also has some elements of Hecate, who was also an Underworld Goddess and is most commonly known nowadays as the Goddess of witches. She was also the goddess of Crossroads and entryways, both which describe the Space-Time door, and befitting this, one of her symbols was a key, like Pluto's staff. Her attack Dead Scream could relate to either Hades or Hecate since she was the Goddess of Ghosts. Regarding her attacks, both Dead Scream and Chronos Typhoon appear to be wind based. specifically, they're made of the wind from her dimension. This relates to Erebus, the personification of Darkness who's mists were said to fill the underworld. So she's literally conjuring the dark winds of the underworld in her attacks. Finally, her garnet orb, symbolizes Persephone and the half pomegranate she ate in the Underworld, forcing her to spend half the year there. Garnet is named after pomegranates because it resembles the dark red seeds in the fruit, while also tying to Pluto's role as the God of wealth, specifically the riches deep in the earth, although the talismans were actually based on the three imperial treasures of Japan.

@@kkerakkii1147 Yes, Zeus was actually Cronus youngest child. Of the 12 Olympian's only 6 were the children of Cronus and Rhea. The oldest, Hestia, then Demeter Hera, Hades and Poseidon. Why is Zeus the King. Because Cronus ate the first 5, fearing they would overthrow and castrate him as he overthrew and castrated Uranus. Rhea was able to hide Zeus away. When he grew up, he used an emetic to force Cronus to disgorge his siblings in reverse order, reversing the Birth Order. They then proceeded to overthrow the Titans, with some help from the giants and Cyclopes, who forged the thunderbolt, Trident and Helm of darkness for Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. When they won, they divided the earth between them. Zeus and Hera got the sky. Poseidon got the oceans, and since the earth was Gaia's domain, Hades got the Underworld. Hestia, ever humble was Given Dominion over home and hearth, a big deal in those days since it meant she got more daily prayers than most Gods, and Demeter took over her father's role as Goddess of the Harvest.
