As a chemist, I can explain why the bath salt didn’t work! It probably was because the water was cold and the salt wasn’t able to dissolve like normal. Meaning that the trapped gas (the one that causes the cackling) couldn’t be released. Hence, it didn’t work! Try it in look warm water and I am sure you’ll get the fizz you’ve expecting!
