Thanks for doing a comprehensive review. I think they are fun and would be nice for a note or short letter to a friend. I love your art work too!

It’s my pleasure! I’m also really curious to see how the inks compare to each other so I thought would be good to do that. Thanks for appreciating my videos. :)

I just started on multi shading inks. Theyre really quite pale so need a broad pen. Still struggling to find the right pen for Dominant Industry's "Sunset" but the swabs look fantastic 😁

Shimmery inks look really fun and interesting but they’re tough on pens.

Swabs are counter-productive, as they do not show the color that will come out of your pen. Swabs are always more beautiful.

I find it very interesting to use chromashading inks as watercolour. I’ve managed make an interesting botanical painting with it. I don’t know how I can attach a picture here.

@@tintanna4793 I believe that is the best use for them. In which case swabs are very useful.

Thanks for showing us these beautiful inks. Watching this video, and using some chromo-shading inks here at home, I VERY rarely can see any secondary color when writing with a fountain pen. It only seems to appear in swatches, and, to a lesser extent, in drawings. So unless your goal is a pretty swatch, or a drawing, forget about chromo-shading. And good luck controlling the shading in a drawing. Does anybody agree with me?

You need to use water resistant paper like tomoe river or clairefontaine 90gsm so that the ink pools on the surface rather than gets absobed too quickly. Also a broad nibed pen that is 'wet' to really get the effect. They do work well but are very picky about paper and nib so lovely, but a bit useless on average paper or with finer nibs.

I love chromoshading inks so your comparison is very interesting to me ❤ About the Itezora, from the video, it looks like a lighter version of Ink Studio 162. For readability, it feels like Inks Studio series is better globally, but the sheening of the Yurameku series is also very attractive… 🥹

Yes. I love chromashading inks. They look so good in artworks. Love the interesting colors that you get to see in them.
