Jade and gold are so beautiful together. I already have 4 sailors...but I wouldn't mind spending another 90 bucks on this or the grateful crane to add to my collection xD I love the pastel colors of this series, but I must resist for some time haha. Excited for you!

@@StationeryDumpling haha yes they're all so pretty and they write so smoothly! I have Vega, Autumn Moon, Spring Rain, and Blue Green Nebula. The nebula one still coming in the mail... but it had no tracking which is a bummer. But I think I'll do a video for opening it when I do get it! 😀

After admiring Sailor PGS but fearing the MF nib would be too fine for me, I finally took the plunge when the Dragon Palace was at an all-time low on Amazon ($70 US.) It's enroute now from Japan. Seeing your demo and love of writing with it gives me hope. So far a Pilot M is a near perfect journaling nib, but that's the steel. Like you my only other gold nib is the e95 and it's a bit juicy for extended writing. I hope my Sailor gold 14K will be as satisfying as yours. I'll check back when it arrives. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yay!! I’m so excited for you! Even after my pen collection has grown, this Dragon palace pen still writes as one of my favorites. I didn’t think I could like anything below medium, but somehow Sailor makes it feel so smooth and it doesn’t bother me with scratchiness at all!

I have it. The pen is dry and draws too thin lines. To get anything close like in this video, I use the wettest ink from my collection, with good lubrication: Monteverde Sapphire. With Sailor's own inks ( Sumire, Potsu) it's too dry for my taste, more like EF than M-F

Oh wow that is surprising. I haven’t tried too many different inks in this but so far so good. It’s a little sad when they aren’t consistent across all nibs and pens. 😕 have you tried it with Pilot Iroshizuku inks?

How noisy is the feedback? I like pens that aren't slippery smooth but is the scribbling noise very audible or just barely?

The feedback noise is very audible. It’s pretty common for Sailor pens, but it’s quite a comforting sound, if that makes sense.
