Sailrite Fabricator vs Juki 1541| Which One Is Best?

I used to have a Sailrite Fabricator, and now have a Juki 1541S. I have arthritis, and the reason I sold the Fabricator is that the knee lift caused a lot of pain in my knee, and the hand wheel was very hard to turn, which also caused pain. My Juki 1541 knee lift does not cause any knee pain, and the hand wheel is easy for me to use. I also have a Sailrite LSZ-1 and a Baby Lock Soprano, so I have the best for anything I need to sew.

The box locus of the juki on its own outclasses the fabricator, not sure why these are even a comparison. Bad match IMO.

Shouldn’t the fabricator be being compared to an old Juki LU-562 instead? that fabricator is no better than any old walking foot machine you can find on marketplace for $300-$400 bucks. If you are considering the fabricator buy an old Consew 206rb or Consew 226 or Juki Lu-562 or 563 and learn how to set up the machine yourself learn the adjustments and do your own mechanical work you will save a ton of money on purchasing the machine and in repairs you will be so glad you took the time to learn about your machine. If that is not for you buy the Juki 1541s and you will be happy with your purchase and you should get many years of trouble free service out of it.

fair comparison since sailrite now prices the fab the same as a juki1541s and in some cases the juki can be found cheaper

@@LAAM619 - ​​⁠Just last week the Fabricator was on sale (10% off) for $1,615.50, shipped. The lowest I’ve been able to find the 1541S with table and without the needle positioner motor, shipped, is $2,219.65. That's a ~$600 difference 😅 What am I missing? I’ve been on the lookout for the past two months 😅 Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Chuck if you're going to to a comparison video then do it yourself. Get rid of the computer generated voice over. It's distracting and amateurish. Additionally it detracts from your credibility. This is meant as constructive criticism if you [plan to grow your channel.

The AI generated voice and pictures of swing machines that are not being evaluated is like one said, amateurish. You never touched on the availability of parts and ease of maintenance. There was no comparison of tolerances in bearings / bushings. Juki is hands down a better piece of equipment.
