I've worked with "non-pliable" fabrics in the past so this video jogged my memory AND helped me remember NOT to iron on the vinyl side. I assumed that was the case, but better safe than sorry! I'm using Ottertex waterproof vinyl-coated fabric to make a chair/tripod/easel tote. Fun! Thankfully, there is only one curve.

I work at a Insulation blanket company and we have custom moving table made out of 1 inch plywood rolling on 2 factory roller style conveyer belts right next the cylinder arm style sewing machine. We have 2 moving tables and 2 sewing machines for each table..

We are demonstrating how to work with heavy fabric for those who do not have the luxury of tables with rollers or conveyor belts. True if you did heavy sewing daily then investing in those items would be very helpful.

I can't even get the first stitch through my vinyl. The bottom thread seems to pull straight out. Haven't a clue what I'm doing wrong. I'm using a leather needle in PVC.

I am sorry for that poor blonde who is breaking her back bending over like that to push the fabric through the machine and when our comapny has roller tables that easily move the large items without the sewer bendind over like that.
