Sailrite puts out some of the best videos. I’ve learned a lot from these videos.

Love the video! I own a Sailrite and ran the rough numbers using the materials list (not including required tools) and came up with $1500. if it takes up to 5 days of solid work, 40 hours x 5 at a dismal $10 an hour that adds another $2000 in labor. Total being $3500 divided by (up to) 15 years would be a cost of $233 a year. I'll be honest and say I'll be much less angry when my $233 cover from China rips to shreds. I'll just keep modifying the cheap covers using my Sailrite and leave this project to the pros.

You were saying to allow extra fabric. If it's cold out, do you need to allow for more shrinkage? *cough*
@SailriteDIY9 ай бұрын
No, you do not. The fabric is very stable in cold and hot weather. Shrinkage from weather is minimal.
