Saint Peter's Chapel, Mare Island California

St. Peter’s Chapel is dedicated in 1901. It is now the country’s oldest naval chapel, it has the largest collection of Tiffany stained glass windows on the West Coast, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

In 1968, we lived in the giant white house behind the chapel park. It was a great place to live. I was 9 years old. Dad was a submariner.
