Hi Erik. I was just watching this video by chance because I did not know this little town. I know the canton of Jura though. I pretty much know all of Switzerland after living here for 32 years. I speak Swiss German fluently but also love the French and Italian speaking regions. I was born in New Jersey in 1964 and lived afterwards in Idaho, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maine, Colorado, Oregon, Washington and then San Francisco where I met a Swiss girl when I was 24 years old. I followed her home and we had 5 kids within 10 years. She took a Swiss millionaire who was the godfather of our daughter. I stayed here anyway because of my kids and then met a German woman. Together for 20 years now and an 18 year old son. So, I have 6 kids all Swiss with American passports too. You are right about Switzerland being very beautiful, I still see it too, and all the size of West Virginia.

I live 10mn from St Ursanne and it really is as beautiful as shown in this video. Visit Tariche Restaurant. It sits right next to the river Doubs about 10-15mn from the town of St Ursanne. They make delicious fish dishes. I recommend the ''Truite meunière''. My go to fish restaurant. I love to go there to relax.

@@DjemoGraphic I am from Sydney. I travelled around Switzerland in 2016 and fell in love with the country. I travelled from Bern to Zurich and down to Lugano where I met my best friend. He has now moved to Australia but I am still in love with Switzerland. There is so much more to explore there and this village is exactly the Switzerland that attracts me. I also want to explore the east. Around Davos area.

@@DjemoGraphic unfortunately I don't have Instagram but I am on Facebook (Mark Thorne-Barbosa). Yes, Singapore is quite close to Australia. I think Oceania should be a separate trip because there are so many countries and places to visit in the region. Australia is a very large country with lots of diverse regions, New Zealand is the Switzerland of the south (not really but it has lots of mountains), Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, etc. I am fascinated by Swiss cultures, history and the beautiful villages. I was married a couple of weeks ago and we were hoping to go to Europe for our honeymoon but Australia's borders are still closed until vaccinations are complete. We will go to Tasmania instead but have a second honeymoon later in Europe. My husband loves Greek culture and wants to go there but my number one destination is Switzerland. He is Brazilian and hates the cold but I love it. There is nothing more romantic than snowy trails through the alps. Swiss chalets and fondue. Of course that's a stereotype but it is those beautiful little, quiet villages with amazing history that draw me in. You presented Saint-Ursanne so wonderfully with fascinating history and a good cross section of scenery to really get a sense of the place. I will subscribe to your channel.

Hey Daniel. I have not tried swimming there, but I think it should be possible. I am very sure that you can go for many hikes in this region. The canton of Jura is known for its many hiking trails and great views. It's hilly, a much older range than the alps!

Hey. Yes, basically, almost every restaurant in Switzerland offers vegetarian dishes: Salds, soups, pasta and even creative main dishes. Depending on the restaurant, you may have either a smaller or a larger choice. Most restaurants are flexible and also can offer to make certain dishes vegetarian, based on my experience.
