The new three days grace seems to be pandering less to older people who are struggling with addiction or having a hard time in the real world and more to high school emos who are struggling with social interaction and trying to make people feel that being different is okay which I understand but now it’s just a bunch of emo shit that I can’t relate to in any way which is why I’m moving away from it

When I passed out behind the wheel in my teenage years before I went into a ditch a very deep one at that this song came over my stereo with Adam Screaming woak my ass up and Avoiding Tragedy.Many year sober now and a father to two beautiful children.I’ve seen Adam 7 times live last time Front Row Dead Center .I love Adam Truly a life saver who’s music saved my life and got me through my darkest days....Three days grace Now is not the same without him I can’t listen to them

The way he moves away from the mic really helps those loud notes come in smoothly. It's crazy how his voice has stayed so incredible for so long. The dudes got chords of steel.

It's a technique more people should understand. For anyone unaware, it's a way to manipulate compression physically. Singing higher notes louder can send the balance out of whack, so backing off the mic can save you from causing imbalances in the eq. Or at least, that's what little I know about it, I'm no sound engineer.
