can we talk about how bobby's actor was amazing at switching from saintly generous into paranoid possessive? it was literally like he became two different people and that made it even more heartbreaking.

@@aquilesriffo Of course it is weird, to go from one behavior to another. Maybe the acting seemed bad, because it was in heavy contrast to how he was before stroke shown. Perhaps, if his personality was the other round (being closed up before the stroke) then we wouldn't have said anything, it would've appeared normal for this guy

yeah theres a guy I used to live near called Mr Pink who the same thing happened to. if you google 'a portrait of mr pink' you can actually see a documentary about him; he seemed like such a sweet guy, came from Jamaica to London and bought this house that was built by a famous architect in like the 1800s or something - painted it up to be crazy colours, inside and out, to remind him of what he loved about Jamaica. by the time I lived near him though the house was in ruin and he would stand on his porch everyday screaming at traffic. he always kept his rose garden beautiful though. he died a few years ago and i believe the house is for sale now, hope they do it up as well as he used to

You can’t say they are horrible though my grandpa has dementia and you can’t Rember things and stuff
@wolfashb4n370
@wolfashb4n370 5 жыл бұрын
@@_jtlauncher4286 he did say that you couldn't blame their behaviour as its due to their condition. Honestly, I can see why some people would believe that they are horrible old people as my grandpa had dementia and he couldn't remember his eldest (my dad) and he would basically threaten my dad with calling the police and people to basically hurt him and kick him out, but with me and my nephew he was nice, but due to the effects of dementia on him I felt uncomfortable with seeing him as it wasn't the grandpa I'd grown up with and I didn't want to remember him as my grandpa with dementia that was horrible to my dad due to it basically destroying the memories of his kids... Sadly I do because my dad forced me to visit him enough, kept telling me the stories despite me trying to show disinterest in his declining health (which was more me trying to protect the old him in my memory) and how he reacted to my dad staying over to make sure he didn't fall over in the night or anything. It's honestly sad to see how it changes a loved one and how it can affect the memory and perception you have of them; I can barely remember what my grandpa was like before and that really sucks.

I know someone like that. my next door neighbour was the nicest person I ever knew she was always putting other people’s needs before her’s and one day she fell down her stairs and severely damaged her head and became selfish and mean.
