The title got me, but the video inside too. I mean yeah me too relying too much on my photo to make scenery art, sometimes lost why I can't draw like other artist (anime character or fantasy landscape). Finding and watch this video really clear my mind a bit, hopefully too for someone love my small artwork.

I and Uさん feel exactly the same. Encountering the same issue feels like we are the same person. Before watching this video, I gradually found the answer. I want to share it here: the principle is to listen to the voice inside, to move towards what excites you, which also means "わくわく" in Japanese. For example, in painting, only draw topics that excite and interest you. If the feeling fades halfway through, it's okay. Similarly, listen to your inner voice. What will make you excited at this moment? Want to take a walk? Then go out. Want to sing a theme song from an anime? Then sing it. In this way, you will become yourself, and in becoming yourself, you will also help others, because when people see you, they will understand how wonderful it is to choose to be oneself. Sincerely wishing you all the best.
It's only my guess, but I have a feeling "Yu" may not be an idealist trying to make a perfect picture, but a person with aphantasia. It's a rare, but real health condition that makes people literally unable to imagine images. At all. From what I know people with this problem can still learn to draw, but it requires much more memorizing to make up for being unable to imagine.
