Odegaard pressed well, was asking for the ball, controlled the game well in the first half. Wolves singled him and Partey out in the 2nd half and ensured they didn't get an easy time on the ball. This is typical Odegaard. He is our most important player as he'll give a standard 8/10 from start to finish always. He doesn't have to assist or score but those twitter tacticos only care for those. Saka is our best player, Odegaard is our most important one. Both are world class.

Odegaard made Saka better today by coming out a bit wider and deeper which allowed Saka to stay in that right half space. Saka is a winger but he profiles as an advanced 8. Hes great out wide but hes world class when he can consistently play in that right channel

Arsenal sleepwalked to a victory in this game. They’re still in first gear. It was a sloppy performance, but they found a way to win. Hopefully they get it going sooner than they did last season. Can’t afford to drop too many games early on and still hope to outrace Man City in the run in. That Merino deal needs to get done asap. Arsenal needs to start building that chemistry with the new players and finding the formations that work.
