They are so big and dangerous!
Hornets attracted by warning pheromones are captured, and the captured hornets emit warning pheromones. It's a trap like hell.
It's a trap for catching rats. You can get
it from supermarket. If you want to catch hornets, you should set the trap and put honey on it.

@@dogsrbetter In one video, OP catches one in a net and steps on it, then puts the dead hornet on the glue trap. They’re attracted to the distress pheromones of the other hornets. That’s not to say they wouldn’t be attracted to honey or other bait left on a glue trap

Yes, I don't know what kind they are but it's not the newer murder hornet because I've seen these awful things forever. Not too often but always at the same certain places. They are like hummingbird size and sound like a helicopter. I swear you can see the expression on their giant faces. It's things like this that make me happy to stay inside! A rat glue trap! Excellent idea!! They are signaling for help but just end up with company instead. Lol.

If anyone is wondering, most invertebrates don’t feel pain, that includes the incredibly vast majority of insects. If you’re having doubt about it- think about when a spiders leg falls off, they don’t thrash and limp in pain. If you’re wondering what invertebrates /do/ feel pain, it’s mostly marine life such as crabs, lobsters and octopuses.

@@CC-lq3ie hmm, insects are kind of basic.. using the example of why and how Hornets attack. Its an autonomic response, releasing he pheromones , then the others following suit. But otherwise I think we tend to anthropomorphize in general, relating emotionally and with out own situational awareness. But as for the rats and mice, these traps might not make them feel so good !

Giant hornets have no chance to kill an army of army ants, if they don´t use some secret chemical. I don´t know any that hornets could use, so they´re dead. But I think they could destroy a killer bee hive.

@Ralph Hunt I was just joking. But remember that if the enemy can't throw everything at you,, it doesn't matter how many "soldiers" it has. I meant wasps in a circle next to each other, so the ants can't attack in big numbers, cuz once they reach the wasp they die.
