Radical Bart definitely had one of the sadder character arcs - from meeting Santa's Little Helper to eating those strange mushrooms to reconnecting with his eccentric father figure Krusty the Clown. When he leaves you can see how heartbroken everyone is even if they don't openly voice it; kinda makes the showdown with Sideshow Bob at the end make more sense. All those ties made along the way to distract Skinner from what he knew he had to eventually do, he was done running from the past and trying to live a normal life - he had to confront and put that old part of himself to rest.

Yes, the series only gets better with re-warches. I've seen it countless times. He was amazing. It was at a two day anime festival, he gave talks on both days. The first talk was on his career and the second one was all about Bebop. :) I met him both days and he signed the cover of my Cowboy Bebop DVD ;)

The montage at 1:27 is my favorite part. While I can't say I'm fond of the emphasis on The Principal & The Pauper, even with that aside, it nicely emphasizes how Skinner had a legit screwed-up past. Okok im a realllllly big fam of cowboy and also this meme as well, I enjoyed a lot the use of flashbacks and references to the anime, but the theme is kinda off, yes, cowboy bebop can be "basically sad bounty hunters" but it had more to it you know? It wasn't just about the sadness and all, but still, great video, and I love the part that the Superintendent just walks away silently, and writes "you steamed a good ham", just like how Edward did. Great job :3

Finally, a good use for "The Principal and the Pauper", an episode that got a lot of hate for changing an established character's personality and history, yet no one really complained about the episode where Marge suddenly is afraid of flying or even the episode where Lisa finds out the real history of Jebediah Springfield (though I can excuse that, since the latter episode was funny and does satirize how far people will go to ignore the bad things historical figures do, so long as the people see them as heroes. Which, yeah, wouldn't fly today and would definitely depend on who's being praised).
