Good review, Gord and hats off to Gayle! Those are just the coolest saws, great addition to the garden tool collection. It seems like Gayle enjoyed using the saw and now, she won't need to call on you! Oh, maybe that's a bad thing. Us guys like to feel needed even if we won't admit it. Good to see you in the shop and moving around, my friend. Keep at it and you will be back to full power in no time! 😊 Phil

The problem with teaching the wife to use your tools is that pretty soon she might not need you around anymore at all. Luckily, in my case, Gayle is afraid of some of the tools, and I’d like to keep it that way! 😁😁😁 All kidding aside, I’m glad she can use it and enjoyed using it. In the future if she needs a limb cut off of a tree, she won’t need to call me. Of course, she might never let me touch that chainsaw again either. 🤔🤔🤔 Thanks for watching, Phil. Take care, …..Gord

Darn, we have a gas burning fireplace. If only we had known, this was going to come to my hot, greedy little hands, we might’ve gone for a woodburning fireplace. LOL! Thanks for watching, Al. Take care, …..Gord

Gord, glad to see you are recovering! I saw this on another KZbin channel a few weeks ago and bought something very similar. For using in a shop, it is fabulous! I am able to trim something I want to start on the lathe to reduce my turning time. I also have trimmed a couple branches out in my yard. This is a nice compliment to the other two chainsaws I have.

Thank you for the well wishes, Eileen. Much appreciated. Yes I think I can see more than a few uses for this little chainsaw. Can’t wait to get to the point where I can try it out. Take care, …..Gord

Gord, I bought one of these after seeing Phil Anderson's review. This tool is awesome!! Works well and is light weight enough that my wife uses it too. The one draw back is....the file needed to re-sharpen it is a 3mm needle file. I had a little trouble finding one but finally did. I guess that's why they give you more than one blade. Cool demo, thanks! 👍🏽

Glad you liked it, Greg. Yes, my wife quite likes it, as well. Thank you for the clue about the 3mm file. I will have to find one. Take care, …..Gord

I have clocked a few dozen hours on a similar unit ... a great little helper when up on a 15 foot (4.5 meter) ladder. We have taken down many limbs which are in excess of four inches (100cm) in diameter. Two batteries are a godsend. Keep healing Gord!

Gayle & Gord nice review! Looks like it could be a handy tool for doing light pruning. Glad to see you are recovering well Gord, take care. Take care, Wayne

Thank you kindly, Wayne. I have a long way to go to get my energy back but it’s coming. Now that Gayle knows how to use that chainsaw I will probably never be allowed to touch it again. The problem with teaching your wife how to use tools is that pretty soon you may not be necessary to the relationship! LOL! Take care, …..Gord

Gord, good to see you up and around. Hope the recovery is going well. Nice review of this product. I had purchased one a few weeks ago and while I haven't put it through all of its paces, so far I love it. Could replace a band saw i trimming edges off a blank to make it round. I need to get my wife to watch the video so I can convince her to use it. LOL

I’m glad you like it, Tom. Gayle tells me that it works very well although it might be a while before she lets me try it. I think it might end up being one of my favourite tools in my shop. Thanks for watching, my friend. Take care, …..Gord

That was pretty impressive, Gord, and should the saw become available in England I'd be interested. More so if a 6" version were available. Good to see Gayle in action (correct spelling? I know you have one of each) I'm sure that in earlier times my Jane would have had a go. Continue with the healing, Gord, there must be a lot of us looking forward to your next video. Bernard.

I believe there is a 6" version available, Bernard, although I could be mistaken about that. If so, you should be able to order it from their website and have it delivered anywhere. Thank you for watching and for the kind words, my friend. Take care, .....Gord

Well I would guess the Saker folks will be very pleased with this review. A chainsaw so simple the housewife can use it. I thought Gayle was most impressive in her trimming. If I didn't already have a small electric chainsaw I would be in the market for this one. It has a great price. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe. Also here is wishing you a continued recovery. Take care my friend.🙂🙂 Edit: I just saw a 360 degree view and found one drawback. I am left handed and the safety button would be hard for me to operate. They need to retrofit that item.😒

Gayle may never let me use “her” saw now that she knows how to use it. I have to stop showing her how to use my tools or she might decide that she doesn’t need me around here anymore! 😳😳😳 Take care, Glen, …..Gord

Great review on the saw Gord. I like the one I have. Pretty cool watching your wife do the cutting. I would show my wife but I bought her the Black and Decker Alligator a few years ago and she already cuts those branches. I heard a strange word from you though. What is that instruction thig you talked about? Must be a Canadian word because I do not use it down here LOL But after 15 attempts and getting the air cooker to start I found this funny looking paper in the box. You take care my friend, Gary
@GordonRock1
@GordonRock1 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I believe instructions may be a Canadian thing. Someone once told me that Americans are superior to us in that they don’t need such things. Come to think of it, it was an American that told me that. LOL! I must admit I very rarely read instructions but this seems like the kind of thing that it might be a good idea to try. Didn’t go as badly as I thought it might! Thanks for watching, buddy Take care, …..Gord

After making a comment on one of these videos you've made on the saw they sent me an email and after conversing they have a version to Kimmers and I! I hope it beats the one with the extension cord cuz man oh man does that get tiring! We have a pluthera of butterflies, lylaics, Hawthorne, peach,plum,cherry and a ton of BlackBerry bushes to deal with! And it really looks promising! Thanks so much for sharing this one guys! Much love from Kimmers and I to you and yours! Cheers👍🏼🇺🇸🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦👍🏼

Hey friend. I have one of these um. Imported electric chain saws. I also have a husky 440, as well as a stihl electric, a stihl 180 and a stihl 340. So what one do I prefer.....that's easy the sharp one. The wife likes the sharp electric one. They both do as designed but your not going to use them more than a short while.

Hi Rick, Thank you for the input. I still haven't had the chance to use it enough to know what to expect but I think it will be a valuable addition to my tool collection. I don't expect it to run the way my gas powered unit runs but it should be interesting to see what it does. Take care, .....Gord

Good review Gord, let the BOSS loose with it and see how she gets on. Mind you I don't think you'll be seeing that much as she was looking more and more comfortable with it the longer she used it. Take care, Geoff
