I was expelled from my school in the United Kingdom when I was suffering from schizophrenia because they were worried I would not get good grades and their school would look bad in the published school league tables they have in the UK

I feel for you. I was close to being expelled from 3 classes in university, but I fought back with emails from my hospital bed and for some miraculous reason, they let me stay and finish my course. I wish you good health!

I wrote a "poem" some time ago, although I wouldn't argue it's anything as sophisticated, but It goes like this: "I've been to the edge. I've peered into the abyss. I saw the darkness and heard its call. The great struggle then becomes, what is my hope that I should resist?" Listening to the question about the last chapter in her book titled, "beyond the edge," brings me back to that dark place in my life, and also how I got beyond it. It's also a chapter in my own book (presently writing) that I have to retitle, apparently lol. But great stuff. Appreciate the talk 👍
