At the trail head of Sal Taylor Preserve there is
ample parking for horse trailers.
It is a popular spot for riding.
The area is part of a conservation corridor.
Opposite Sal Taylor preserve is Jennings State Forest.
This section is separated from the rest of
Jennings State Forest by private property.
This is a quiet wilderness trail with lots of wildlife.
I have seen coyotes deer and wild turkeys,
but I'm told that Bobcat and bear are also present.
..even a resident panther.
Most things about the trail, fairly normal.
But there is that sketchy looking bridge at the end?
There is also a small Creek and there's
a sign out front that says there's a kayak launch.
I didn't see it... There is, however,
running water and normally clean restrooms at the trailhead.
