Tips! =^w^= 1. CURL YOUR FINGERS!! If you don’t, you could risk bending and even breaking your fingers. Although, don’t tuck in your thumb, as you could risk crushing your thumb. (If you cannot curl your fingers, simply flat handed will work as well) 2. Wear light, comfortable clothing, especially in the summer. 3. Stay hydrated, especially when doing quads outside during warm and/or sunny days. 4. If you are wearing gear, make sure it is completely secure, so it doesn’t fall off, break, or get lost. 5. If you use real fur tails, be extra careful when doing quads around/in water! Real tails are a pain to clean, and getting water in them can cause them to get moldy. 6. Stretch beforehand! Stretching reduces your risk of injury, and makes you more flexible, allowing for smoother and easier quads. 7. Try and keep your back as flat as possible. This reduces the chance of back injury and pain, and makes the movement more realistic. 8. Keep your head up for visibility, so you don’t run into something or get hurt because you weren’t looking. 9. Always, always have a phone or another person nearby. This allows you to call for help when you need it. It’s especially useful when you injure yourself, and are unable to get help alone. 10. When jumping, bend your elbows to reduce the impact and pressure. This will decrease the risk of injury, such as breaking or dislocating your arms. Stay safe, and have fun! :3 ❤️

Hello!! Quadrobist of almost a year here!! A few things that helped me with the natural gaits such as walking, trotting, and running, was watching videos of things such as show jumping because horses' gaits are very similar to how they look in quads! Of course this will be different for everyone, but try to do what you feel comfortable with. Also remember to not push yourself. Quadrobics takes very long to get good at and comfortable with, so doing about 30 mins- 1 hour a day is usually about right for most people! Be careful though, doing too much quads without your body being used to it can cause you to be very sore for a bit lol!! This is much the same with jumping. Although I have been doing quads for about ten months, I still cant jump higher than about 3 ft (90-100cm). It takes lots of time and practice, just remember not to push yourself. Tutorials can also be a big help!! Most importantly, have fun :D !!

Stretching tuts aren’t necessarily good- creeps use them in gross ways, just stretch however it feels nice and avoid posting them 😭

I love the fact you acknowledged that trotting is hard!! The make it look so easy, but it’s so hard to get my body to listen! Thx for the running one! I’ve tried running, but every time I throw my feet up over my head and faceplant on the ground 😭 I’m slowly figuring ou Quadrobics as I’m only starting when I’m older(almost 15) and I’m- not the skinniest gxrl.. 😅

Just keep practicing ❤️ I know it can be hard sometimes but even just making the decision to start trying is a huge step! If you don’t want to worry about injuring yourself, do quads on a mattress so you can work on your form without having to worry about getting hurt ^^

I really like this video 😭 I started doing quads a few months ago, and when I started, walking, running, and small jumps came super naturally for me. It's near impossible for me to trot rn, but I've found I can do a perfect pace if I don't think about it-? But I need to know- How are you so light on your feet? You look so graceful!! I always land so heavily that I need to take breaks every few minutes bc my wrists hurt- But other than that I love the tips, this is definitely one of my favorites out of the many that I've watched ^w^

Thank you! And I suggest practicing being light on your _actual_ feet before you try it in quads. It’s like floating, it’s hard to explain since it’s so specific. Essentially try to jump slower if that makes any sense 😅

It’s hard to explain but it definitely requires a lot of neck muscles! If your heat is slightly tilted down, it can look very scary so I suggest kneeling in front of the mirror and seeing what angle your head needs to be at to make it look not scary :3

Practice jumping on soft surfaces like mattresses to start off. You have less of a chance of injuring yourself and you can get used to quads without having to worry about getting hurt ^^
